Japan Society and the Chocolate Factory Theater present the full world premiere of The Nosebleed, written and directed by the Brooklyn-based theater-maker Aya Ogawa (she/they). 

Naked Boys Singing! will begin its 11-week Las Vegas residency at The Jewel Box Theatre on Sept 15th, featuring American Idol’s David Hernandez and Eating Out’s Chris Salvatore alongside a cast of familiar faces including America’s Got Talent finalist Marcus Terell, Vegas headliner Louis D’Aprile and Going Down in LA-LA Land’s Matthew Ludwinski.

An infamous tale, Sweeney Todd, an unjustly exiled barber, returns to nineteenth century London, seeking vengeance against the lecherous judge who framed him and ravaged his young wife. The road to revenge leads Todd to Mrs. Lovett, a resourceful proprietress of a failing pie shop, above which he opens a new barber practice. Mrs. Lovett's luck sharply shifts when Todd's thirst for blood inspires the integration of an ingredient into her meat pies that has the people of London lining up... and the carnage has only just begun!

Performers include Lorraine Min, Terence Tam, Levi Hernandez, Jennifer Bird-Arvidsson and Rhys Lloyd Talbot, plus collaborations with local performing arts organizations like the Cheyenne All-City Children’s Chorus, the Cheyenne Chamber Singers, UW choirs and the En-Avant dance studio.

Westport Country Playhouse has selected two HD videos from its archives of performances captured live on stage for streaming on demand. The Playhouse’s 2018 production of “Man of La Mancha,” the Tony Award-winning musical following Don Quixote’s quest for “The Impossible Dream,” will stream on-demand from Monday, August 23-Sunday, September 5.

Salt Lake Acting Company, Utah's leading destination for brave, contemporary theatre, presents the world premiere of its “fresh take on the Beehive State,” #SLACabaret, from August 11 through September 12. The all-new satire, penned by Martine Kei Green-Rogers, Aaron Swenson, and Amy Wolk, marks SLAC's return to in-person entertainment after temporarily shutting its doors in March, 2020.
