After 27 years, Tom Stoppard's seminal work, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead returns to the New York stage directed by Tony-winner John Rando (Urinetown, A Christmas Story). The cast of A&E's DUCK DYNASTY is in NYC to appear in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade tomorrow, and while they are in town, they stopped by Cinderella on Broadway. The $5,000 award, given by Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation, heralds both accomplishment to date and promise for the future, and lauds deep commitment to a community.

Three upcoming matinee performances (today, October 30, November 6 and 13) of the show will be simultaneously sign language interpreted and open captioned by TDF's Accessibility Programs (TAP), which is bringing the students with mild to severe hearing loss to the theatre through their 'Access for Young Audiences' program. Additionally, earlier this month, TAP brought 100 students who are blind or have low vision to the Wednesday matinee performance on October 9, which featured audio description.

Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation (SDCF), the not-for-profit foundation of Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC), announces that Artistic Director Charles Newell of Court Theatre is the recipient of the 2013 Zelda Fichandler Award, which recognizes an outstanding director or choreographer who is transforming the regional arts landscape through singular creativity and artistry in theatre. The Acting Company of New York will return to the Gallo Center for the Arts with William Shakespeare's 'Hamlet' today, October 13, at 4 pm. The company last visited the Gallo Center in 2012 with 'Of Mice and Men,' performing before a capacity audience.
The Vineyard Theatre has announced its world-premiere production of the musical THE LANDING -- with book and lyrics by Greg Pierce, music by John Kander and directed by Walter Bobbie -- will extend its previously-announced engagement by two weeks, now scheduled to play through November 24 at The Vineyard (108 E. 15 St.). THE LANDING began preview performances October 3 with opening night set for October 23.
