On June 28th, 2024, the musical theater adaptation of the acclaimed Japanese manga ‘Your Lie in April' began West End previews at the Harold Pinter Theatre and simultaneously made its Korean debut in Seoul at the CJ Towol Theatre, with K-pop and film/TV icons triple-cast in starring roles. 

Antaeus Theatre Company has announcesd Nike Doukas as the new artistic director, succeeding Bill Brochtrup. Doukas will begin her role on September 4.

Frank Wildhorn will tonight (Friday 28 June) make West End history with the first preview performance of Your Lie in April, as the first manga-inspired musical to get a West End season and the first 100% all-Asian cast British musical. Learn how to purchase tickets.

Rehearsals are underway for Harold Pinter's classic comedy of menace, The Birthday Party starring Olivier Award, Tony Award and BAFTA nominee Jane Horrocks, which will play the Ustinov Studio, Theatre Royal Bath from Friday 2 – Saturday 31 August.

National Theatre and Empire Street Productions have announced that Prima Facie, the most watched National Theatre Live title to date, is returning to cinemas from 12 September 2024.

Olivier Award nominee Clare Foster will star as Elowen Keene in THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON, alongside the previously announced Olivier Award winner John Dagleish as Benjamin Button, at the Ambassadors Theatre from Thursday 10th October 2024.

The 2024 summer theatre season is already in full swing in St. Louis, Missouri, with three exceptional comedy-dramas opening last week. St. Louis stages opened their 2024 season with STEEL MAGNOLIAS starring a mostly local cast. Broadway World called the Stages St. Louis production “wonderfully funny – creating contagious uncontrollable laughter.”  Albion Theatre opened a terrific production of Alan Ayckbourn’s WOMAN IN MIND with a tour-de-force performance from Emily Baker in the lead role. Baker is on stage the entire production. Stray Dog Theatre had audiences laughing out loud with their production of David Lindsay-Abaire's RIPCORD. All three productions run through the end of June. The most anticipated productions of the remaining summer season include shows at The Muny, Stages St. Louis, and The New Jewish Theatre.

Talawa Theatre Company’s flagship programme for emerging theatremakers, TYPT, is back this summer.  A team of emerging Black artists aged 18-25 will work with established artists to create a brand-new show in four weeks, with invaluable access for young artists at the start of their careers to professional support including director Tristan Fynn-Aiduenu.  This summer, the participants will create work themed around success.

Jez Butterworth’s new play The Hills of California, directed by Sam Mendes, will open on Broadway this fall! The play will perform a limited engagement at the Broadhurst Theatre with previews beginning in September.

Rec Room Arts has announced the opening of a revival production of Harold Pinter's BETRAYAL, directed by Sophia Watt (Heroes of the Fourth Turning, Dance Nation).
