FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Damon J. Gillespie (NBC'S Rise, Newsies), Emma Pittman (Winner of The Search for Roxie) and more in Danny Feldman's a?oeHIDE AND SEEKa?? on February 21, 2020 at 9:30pm. An autobiographical musical, Hide and Seek tells the story of Andrew, a high school student who realizes that he is gay. As he comes to terms with his newfound sexuality, he finds himself struggling to navigate his way through his relationship with friends, a former girlfriend, his new boyfriend, and his family. As he attempts to find his true self, Andrew learns more about living life authentically. Written by Danny Feldman at the age of sixteen, the evening will feature orchestrations by Eli Schildkraut and will be music directed by Luke Williams.

Fifteen years after its first production of the musical, Musical Theatre West revisits the Tony Award-winning musical RAGTIME for only its second time---smartly reviving the musical in a similarly lavish production that beautifully converges the show's classic staging and vibe with wonderfully integrated 21st Century tech upgrades that help elevate the material rather than hinder its storytelling. Under the enlightened direction of Paul David Bryant (who also provides the production's high-energy choreography), this brand new, spectacularly engrossing production bellows with an emotional fervor and is one of my favorite iterations of this musical I have seen in recent years. This local revival---which continues performances at the Carpenter Center for the Performing Arts in Long Beach through February 23, 2020---is a feast for the senses.

Two River Theater is now presenting William Shakespeare's romantic comedy 'Twelfth Night' directed by Sara Holdren with original songs composed by the band/theater collective, The Lobbyists. Performances will be in Two River's Rechnitz Theater through Sunday, February 2. Broadwayworld.com had the pleasure of interviewing Hannah Rose Caton who plays Viola in the show.

Two River Theater, under the leadership of Artistic Director John Dias and Managing Director Michael Hurst, will kick off the new year with Shakespeare's romantic comedy Twelfth Night, directed by Sara Holdren with original songs composed by the band/theater collective The Lobbyists. Performances will begin in Two River's Rechnitz Theater, 21 Bridge Avenue, on Saturday, January 11 and continue through Sunday, February 2. The opening night performance is Friday, January 17 at 7pm. Members of the theatre community joined television and film vets to support the ongoing fundraiser for StateraArts on August 22.

Beautiful's Kara Lindsay, Little Known Fact's Ilana Levine, and more came out to support 'Changemakers: A Celebration of Women and StateraArts' at The Green Room 42 on August 22. The concert was part of the ongoing fundraiser for StateraArts, a national volunteer organization working to bring women into full and equal participation in the arts.

It was announced today that Ilana Levine, host of the popular podcast 'Little Known Facts,' will appear in 'Changemakers: A Celebration of Women and StateraArts.' Levine joins Rachel Spencer Hewitt in a panel talk on motherhood and the Parent Artist Advocacy League.

Dorset Theatre Festival, under the leadership of Artistic Director Dina Janis and Producing Director Will Rucker, will begin performances of Mrs. Christie, the second World Premiere production of the 42nd Season, on August 1, 2019. The play is written by Heidi Armbruster and has been developed in the Festival's acclaimed Women Artists Writing Group since 2016.

Uke Night is back! The series, now entering its 43rd year, brings leading artists and rising stars to all five boroughs of New York City.

Juilliard Drama begins its inaugural year under the leadership of Obie-winning director Evan Yionoulis, Richard Rodgers Director of the Drama Division. Current acting director Richard Feldman will resume his role as associate director and faculty member. The 2018-19  season features fully staged productions showcasing Juilliard's Group 48 acting students in their fourth and final year in the program.
