Prospect Theater Company Announces Cast of WORLD VIEWS

Prospect Theater Company, under the leadership of Producing Artistic Director Cara Reichel and Managing Director Melissa Huber, has announced the cast for WORLD VIEWS, a collection of new mini-musicals in concert, the culmination of Prospect's 2017 Musical Theater Lab. WORLD VIEWS, the company's 11th lab performance, will be presented on July 8, 2017 at 8pm at The TimesCenter.

The city-wide school tour of Irving Berlin's Land That I Love, featuring music & lyrics by Irving Berlin and book by four-time Tony Award nominee Chad Beguelin (Aladdin, The Wedding Singer, Elf the Musical), has extended its performance schedule for the second time due to popular demand and strong audience response, with support from NYC Council Member Vincent Gentile.

The city-wide school tour of Irving Berlin's Land That I Love, featuring music & lyrics by Irving Berlin & book by 4-time Tony Award nominee Chad Beguelin (Aladdin, The Wedding Singer, Elf the Musical), has extended its performance schedule into May due to popular demand & strong audience response from the first month of school tour performances across the city. Presented by leading NYC arts education nonprofit Inside Broadway (Executive Director, Michael Presser), Land That I Love is a special collaboration between Inside Broadway and the Irving Berlin Family & is specifically produced for New York City public schools. The tour began in January and will now be performed at over 60 NYC public schools in Manhattan, Brooklyn, The Bronx and Queens, with over 100 performances thru May 5 (in 2017, Inside Broadway will be serving over 50,000 New York City students with its programs).

Rocking Horse Studio helps ring in the holidays in style when it returns to the Spotlight Cafe at the historic Capitol Center for the Arts in Downtown for Christmas shows on Today, December 16 and Saturday, December 17. Tickets for both performances are currently on sale at $20. A portion of the proceeds from this performance will be donated to New Hampshire charities.

Highland Park Players proudly present the non-equity Chicago area premier of the 10-time Tony Award winning musical, Billy Elliot the Musical. Asher Alcantara of Wilmette and Cade Pearlman of Highland Park will be alternating the role of the iconic character, Billy. The musical that has won hearts of millions will be performed at the Northbrook Theatre, 3323 Walters Avenue, from October 21st through November 6th. Performances are: October 21, 22, 28, 29 and November 3, 4, 5 at 7:30 pm and October 23, 30 and November 6 at 2 pm.
