Emmy-nominated actor Hugh Dancy (Hannibal) will guest star in a multi-episode arc on the award-winning drama series HOMELAND, starring Emmy and Golden Globe winner Claire Danes and Emmy and Tony® winner Mandy Patinkin. Dancy will recur as John Zabel, a savvy Washington consultant who joins the White House as a new foreign-policy advisor to the President and a formidable opponent to Saul Berenson (Patinkin). Fox has given a script commitment with penalty to Saturday Night Special, a drama about police officers in Washington, D.C, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The series comes from writer Robert Specland, who executive produces with Marc Platt and Adam Siegel.

According to Deadline, Clare Danes has confirmed today on Howard Stern's Sirius XM radio show that the hit series HOMELAND will end after the upcoming eighth season.
