Karney Announces New EP BETTER

Anna Karney has been making great music for many years, performing across the United States and collaborating with many talented and notable artists. As a solo artist she has put out several singles and EPs, and now with her band KARNEY is set to release a new EP titled BETTER, a stunning collection of original new songs together with a remix, and a cover of 'Ramble On,' one of Karney's favorite Led Zeppelin songs.

Terrace Martin Debuts New Album 'Gray Area Live at the JammJam'

Today, Grammy-nominated producer, singer-songwriter, musician Terrace Martin shares a brand new album, Terrace Martin's Gray Area - Live at the JammJam, with one of a kind live performances featuring an array of today's top stars in jazz, hip-hop and more, like Kamasi Washington, Ben Wendel, Ronald Bruner Jr., Maurice 'Mobetta' Brown, Paul Cornish, and Joshua Crumbly. The collection was recorded live in-the-round with a full audience at one of Jammcard's trademark events, the JammJam. This will be the first release from Jammcard Music, in partnership with Sounds of Crenshaw, and EMPIRE Distribution.

Seacoast Sessions Presents Russ Grazier, Jazz Saxophonist

New Hampshire Theatre Project's third Seacoast Sessions will feature jazz saxophonist Russ Grazier, accompanied by Jim Dozet on guitar. Hosted by Kathleen Somssich of WSCA Radio. Seacoast Sessions honors seacoast performers who have regional, national and international reputations and offers audiences a rare opportunity to see and hear master performing artists in an intimate setting with excellent acoustics, and to learn about their professional histories and how they mastered their craft. Seacoast audiences will be especially interested in learning how Russ Grazier turned his passion for music into the highly successful Portsmouth Music & Arts Center.

Diligent Champion Of Music And Entertainment, Nancy Lewis Jones, Passes Away

Nancy Carol Lewis Jones died peacefully on December 20, 2019 at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City after a short illness.  She was born on the February 20, 1943 in Detroit to Mack and Carol Edith (nee Schulz) Lewis. She attended Cooke Elementary, Redford High, and Michigan State University, where she majored in TV and Radio Production. At MSU she was Campus Correspondent for Billboard and first became seriously interested in the British Music scene when she went to review a concert of The Dave Clark Five in Lansing.

Its story of a group of musicians who return from World War II to form a band, is one of poignancy and real-life struggle. Trumpet player Scott Bell, who is making his debut performance as an actor, talks about getting used to his new acting muscles as well as sharing his stellar musicianship with audiences across the country.

Galactic Announces 25th Anniversary Tour

Galactic are pleased to announce their 25th anniversary tour, a celebration they're excited to share with fans across the country as they look back on their storied history together as a band. Over the past quarter century, the renowned New Orleans group have released 10 studio albums, played countless gigs and festivals throughout the world, and within the last year, partnered together to purchase and preserve the legacy of the legendary Tipitina's club. This coming February and March they will play shows across the US, with alternating guests including Anders Osbourne, Chali 2na, Jackie Green, Dirty Revival, Naughty Professor, and Southern Avenue. Joining Galactic on stage as the featured singer for this tour will be New Orleans native Anjelika “Jelly” Joseph, a singer who's musical gifts have seen her talent tapped by artists such as Michelle Williams, Faith Evans, and Norah Jones. Holidelic Brings Holiday Funk-tacular To Club Helsinki Hudson

Once again the holiday-funk spectacular Holidelic - the brainchild of Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, producer, actor and dancer Everett Bradley - will usher in the holiday season at Club Helsinki Hudson, this year with a two-night stand on Saturday, December 21, at 9pm, and Sunday, December 22, at 8pm. Part dance party, part funk concert, part comedy show, the Yuletide-themed event features original holiday songs as well as loose, funk-infused adaptations of Tchaikovsky, 'Frosty the Snowman,' 'Little Drummer Boy' and the like.

PBS to Air GRAMMY SALUTE TO MUSIC LEGENDS

In collaboration with PBS' 'Great Performances' series, the Recording Academy presents 'GRAMMY Salute To Music Legends®,' the fourth annual all-star concert offering a primetime spotlight for the Academy's 2019 Special Merit Awards recipients.
