This 2025-26 season, Opera Orlando is celebrating its 10th Anniversary, and the festivities kick off in August with its annual Summer Concert Series at the University Club of Winter Park.

The cast has arrived for the Florida premiere of Scott Joplin’s Treemonisha presented by Opera Orlando on May 16 - 18 at the Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater at Dr. Phillips Center.

Next weekend, a star-studded cast takes the stage in Steinmetz Hall as Opera Orlando presents Massenet's Cendrillon, a sumptuous French retelling of the classic Cinderella story. Soprano Lindsay Ohse returns to the Company as the classic heroine Cinderella, having last sung Gilda in the 2021-22 season production of Rigoletto, which was the first opera to be produced in Steinmetz Hall.

Fairy tales come to life as Cendrillon [Cinderella] takes the stage of Steinmetz Hall with Grammy award-winner Lindsay Ohse in the title role. Performances run February 7 and 9.

When it comes to the holidays in the opera world there are few standards as beloved as Gian Carlo Menotti’s AMAHL AND THE NIGHT VISITORS. The first opera written expressly for television and first broadcast on NBC on Christmas Eve 1951, the piece has been produced countless times over the last 73 years. But Orlando audiences were treated to a new first December 6 - 8 from Opera Orlando at the Dr. Phillips Center – a new comic opera, 4 LOST SANTAS, designed to be offered alongside AMAHL and create a double bill that hits all the high points one looks for in holiday entertainment – fun and frivolity as well as reverence and beauty.  

Student RUSH tickets have been announced for Opera Orlando’s production of 4 Lost Santas + Amahl and the Night Visitors this weekend, presented at the Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.

After a competitive grant review process, the Opera received a programming support grant from Dr. Phillips Charities underwriting the Opera’s upcoming production of Massenet’s Cendrillon.
