Stars in the House continues today (2pm) with Plays In The House: Free Speech: Performing Artists and the Power of the Spoken Word with Gilbert Bailey, Gabriel Brown, Andréa Burns, Michelle Liu Coughlin, Darian Dauchan, Samy Figerado, Ann Harada, Orville Mendoza, Ines Nassara, Karen Olivo, Nova Peyton, Christopher Richardson, Awa Sal Secka, Pearl Sun, and Jason Veasey.

Blue, the new play directed by Phylicia Rashad, is celebrating Mothers' Day with a new video!

The marquee is up on the legendary Apollo Theater for the upcoming Broadway Uptown production of “Blue” starring Leslie Uggams and Lynn Whitfield and directed by Phylicia Rashad.

Today, producers Brian Moreland, Ron Simons, Eric Falkenstein, Mike Jackson and singer John Legend announced complete casting for Blue, a play by Charles Randolph-Wright and directed by Phylicia Rashad which will play a 16-week limited engagement at New York's legendary Apollo Theater (253 West 125th Street) in Harlem starting Monday, April 27 with opening night set for May 10.. Blue will run through August 16.

Creative Cauldron closes out its 10th season of award-winning theater with Disney's Beauty and the Beast. In the same spirit of its highly acclaimed Wizard of Oz, Creative Cauldron will tackle the iconic Disney musical Beauty and the Beast, with creativity and simplicity, knowing what is most essential is the story at its heart.

The cast includes Gabriel Brown (Pete Pfeifer), Sasha Diamond (Meghan Gotschell), Ethan Dubin(Bobbie Clearly), Crystal Finn (Jane Welch),Marcus Ho (Russ Scott), Christopher Innvar(Stanley Welch), Tyler Lea (Eddie Welch), Talene Monahon (Megan Currie), Brian Quijada(Mitch Backes), Constance Shulman (Darla London) and JD Taylor (Derek Nelson).

Moli re's TARTUFFE, as translated by Ranjit Bolt, is directed by Huntington Theatre Company's Artistic Director Peter DuBois and features an accomplished cast, led by Frank Wood and Brett Gelman. The story of a charlatan getting the better of a fool, despite the misgivings and warnings of his family, the dialogue is delivered in rhyming couplets, or what I refer to as satiric verses.

The Huntington Theatre Company presents the brilliant classic comedy Tartuffe by Moli re, directed by Huntington Theatre Company Artistic Director Peter DuBois (Sunday in the Park with George), translated by Ranjit Bolt, and featuring actor and comedianBrett Gelman (Murray Bauman on the upcoming season of Netflix's Stranger Things and Dinner with Brett Gelman specials on Adult Swim) as Tartuffe and Tony Award winner Frank Wood (Side Man and August Osage County on Broadway and HBO's Flight of the Conchords ) as Orgon. Performances run from November 10 through December 10, 2017 at the Avenue of the Arts / Huntington Avenue Theatre.

Side Show is currently playing at Hayes Theatre Co and audiences and critics have been unanimous in their praise for leading ladies Kerrie Anne Greenland (Helpmann Award winner for Les Miserables) and Laura Bunting (Elphaba in Wicked, Maureen in Rent) who portray real-life conjoined twins Daisy and Violet Hilton.
