East River Commedia (Paul Bargetto, Artistic Director) announces the 4th annual undergroundzero festival of experimental theatre, featuring over twenty New York City and European theatre companies and artists at the legendary downtown performance venue Performance Space 122, July 6-25.

The Summer Festival of Sacred Music at St. Bartholomew's will launch its 16th season on Sunday, June 27 at 11 am. In recognition of New York City's observance of Gay Pride Sunday, this service of sacred music will feature works written by gay composers.

On Thursday, April 22 at 8:00 p.m., acclaimed mezzo-soprano Frederica von Stade, with pianist Martin Katz, sings her New York farewell concert in Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage. Her varied program includes works by some of the greatest contemporary and 20th century American composers: Ned Rorem, Jake Heggie, Virgil Thomson, Aaron Copland, Lee Hoiby, Leonard Bernstein, Carol Hall, William Bolcom, and Stephen Sondheim.

Award-winning composer CAROL HALL'S beloved classic 'JENNY REBECCA' will be featured in FREDERICA Von STADE'S farewell New York recital this Thursday evening, April 22nd at Carnegie Hall, Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage at 8:00pm.

On Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 8:00 PM, the Eastman School of Music - one of the nation's premier music institutions, named 'Hottest School for Music' by Newsweek - presents its esteemed faculty-based chamber ensemble, Eastman Virtuosi, in concert at Kaufman Center's Merkin Concert Hall. The program features works by Georg Philipp Telemann, Francis Poulenc and Anton Dvorak, as well as the New York premiere of Sebastian Currier's Pulse (2002).
