FSCJ Artist Series has announced upcoming events for its 55th Anniversary Season.

Brilliance, a new musical based on the life of actress Frances Farmer, is set to make its New York premiere in an Off-Broadway residency at The Players Theatre (115 Macdougal Street) for a three-week limited engagement. The musical is scheduled to open on Thursday, April 7.

Samuel L. Jackson is one of the most respected actors in Hollywood. Jackson’s portrayal of ‘Jules’ in Quentin Tarantino’s “Pulp Fiction” made a mark on American cinema. In addition tO critical acclaim, he received Oscar and Golden Globe nominations, as well as a Best Supporting Actor award from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.

Hampstead Theatre has announced the full cast and creative team for the world premiere of Alexis Zegerman's vivid, new play, The Fever Syndrome.  Directed by Roxana Silbert,  The Fever Syndrome will run from 19 March until 23 April 2022.

ViSiBLE, a theatre company dedicated to creating work focused on later life, today announce the full cast and new dates for the world première of Five Characters in Search of a Good Night's Sleep, devised by Mike Alfreds and Sonja Linden with the company - Geraldine Alexander, Andrew Hawkins, Sally Knyvette, Gary Lilburn and Vincenzo Nicoli.

Shawnee State University Theater Department presents DISASTER! The musical pays homage to the 70s, an era of bell-bottoms, platform shoes, boogie dancing and…disaster movies. It’s 1979, and New York’s best-dressed are queueing up to board The Barracuda, a new floating casino and discotheque.

The Omaha Community Playhouse production of Steve Martin's and Edie Brickell's Bright Star will open Friday, February 4, 2022. The show will run in the Hawks Mainstage Theatre through February 13 with performances Wednesdays through Sundays.

Villanova Theatre presents The Revolutionists, written by Lauren Gunderson, directed by Valerie Joyce, and on stage February 10th – 20th in the Court Theatre at the John and Joan Mullen Center for the Performing Arts. 

Award-winning Proteus Theatre will embark on a UK tour this Spring with their lauded adaptation of Angela Carter’s collection of short stories The Bloody Chamber (and Other Stories). An erotic, heady and feminist re-telling of Angela Carter's dark fantasy fairy tales, the production is performed using aerial circus, visual physical theatre, gothic design and a haunting soundscape. 

On Saturday, February 12 at 2 pm, The Delaware Valley Arts Alliance will present a performance of '2x2x4.' This dance/movement duet led by dancer Charles Dennis and musician Sal Cataldi (aka Spaghetti Eastern Music) engages in creative play with wooden 2x4's by building and destroying structures along with creating landscapes he can dance through.

Bristol Old Vic today announces a week-long extension of the world première of Dr Semmelweis, based on an original idea by Mark Rylance, and written by Stephen Brown with Rylance. The production opened on 26 January, and now runs until 19 February 2022.

After suffering a stroke, crime fiction author, Jed Power, overcame his paralysis and wrote the eighth book in the ac-claimed Dan Marlowe/Hampton Beach, NH, Crime/Mystery series.
