The three band members met several years ago on Broadway during the production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Michael C. Hall is a musical talent and a longstanding Broadway performer, having played leading roles in Chicago, Cabaret, Hedwig and was selected by David Bowie to star in his musical, Lazarus.

Following a successful run of CVRep's second play of the season, Life X 3, the playhouse continues its season of Hopes, Dreams, and Expectations 2021-2022 with Closer Than Ever, a musical revue directed by Ron Celona, with music by David Shire, lyrics by Richard Maltby, Jr., and musical direction by Scott Storr. The cast includes four actors with impeccable musical theater credentials: Michael Bullard, Jeffrey Landman, Janna Cardia, and Julie Garnyé. The album is a digital compilation featuring recordings from Darin's years with Capitol Records and Motown Records in the early 1960s, including “More” and “Call Me Irresponsible,” which was recently featured in the hit HBO show “Euphoria.” The singer's management also signed with 7S Management for Estate representation. 

Genre-defying, Nashville-based quintet and live sensations Rainbow Kitten Surprise have unveiled additional dates for their upcoming highly anticipated North American headline tour. Joel B. New's musical comedy Tempting Mr. Lincoln premieres in concert tonight at The Green Room 42. The concert is directed by Stanley Martin (Aladdin) with musical direction by Gillian Berkowitz (Lehman Trilogy).

Luno returns to the release radar with his first sonic offering of 2022, ‘I’ll Look After You’, featuring the vocal talent of Massachusetts-based singer/songwriter Haux. It directly follows last November’s ‘Moonlight’, Luno’s new track with Kilik. It also follows up Haux’s ‘Fever In The Night’ EP, featuring elements from Luno’s previous Samuraii.

The Omaha Community Playhouse production of Outside Mullingar will open on Thursday, February 17, 2022. The show will run in the Howard Drew Theatre through March 13 with performances Thursdays through Sundays.
