IRISH TENORS to Perform Holiday Show 12/18 at Herbst Theater

The Irish Tenors are celebrating the holidays with a new show at The Herbst Theater, 401 Van Ness Ave., San Francisco. The singers, Anthony Kearns, Finbar Wright, and Karl Scully, backed by a 35 piece orchestra, will perform December 18 at 8 PM. The show is one night only and tickets are $45.50 to $115.50. NAATCO to Present Revival of Williams' OUT CRY With Katigbak and Machado

The National Asian American Theatre Company (NAATCO) presents a revival of the Tennessee Williams classic OUT CRY -- a play about theatre, writing, and acting -- with previews set to begin November 29, prior to an official press opening December 4 at Abingdon Theater (312 West 36th Street), starring Mia Katigbak (DOGEATERS) and Eduardo Machado (THE COOK). 'History Of The World' Comes To Apollo On 4/8

After completing a national tour, HISTORY OF THE WORD will be presented at NY's famed Apollo Theatre on April 8th at 10am. HISTORY OF THE WORD is presented by TheaterFirst, KDF and The Apollo Theatre, written by Ben Snyder, directed by Monica Williams, and conceived by Orin Wolf & Rajendra Ramoon Maharaj.

Kander & Ebb's 'Happy Time' Opens 4/1 at Signature

The Signature Theatre continues its national Kander and Ebb Celebration with a new production of the Broadway greats' forgotten musical The Happy Time, performed in Signature's 110-seat ARK Theatre. The Happy Time is part of a four-month celebration of the works of John Kander and Fred Ebb, the longest song-writing partnership in the history of the American musical theater. The Happy Time plays Tuesday, April 1 through Sunday, June 1, in repertory with Kiss of the Spider Woman in The MAX Theatre (through April 20), then The Visit (May 13 - June 22).

New Play with Poems by High School Students Runs in March

The Vineyard Theatre and Queens Theatre in the Park will present the New York premiere of History of the Word - a multi-cultural play about the urban high school experience - written by Ben Snyder (New York Stage and Film, NYC's Hip Hop Theater Festival), and featuring the poetry/spoken word of NYC high school students.
