What did our critic think of DIAL M FOR MURDER at Westport Country Playhouse?

TWELFTH NIGHT is, without a doubt, my favourite of all Shakespeare’s plays. It is, probably for this reason, also the Shakespeare play I have had the honour of watching the most times. Despite this, I have never emerged from this play feeling like I have seen a repeat of the same production.

A brand-new tour of smash-hit family favourite Madagascar The  Musical will open at Theatre Royal Plymouth on 20 October 2023. 

The Party comes to Theater St.Gallen in September. The play is based on the film by Thomas Vinterberg and Mogens Rukov. Performances run 14 September - 3 December.

The Barn Theatre in Cirencester has today announced the six local young performers who will be sharing the role of Ivonka in the theatre’s reimagined revival of the Tony and Olivier award-winning musical Once, which runs at the Cotswold theatre until 12th August.  

Theatre Under The Stars will return to the Miller Outdoor Theatre stage for the first time since 2019 with a concert in July. The show, dubbed TUTS: A Celebration of Houston Stories and Songs is directed by Mitchell Greco, and will run July 11 – 15 features a cast of beloved Houston actors singing many songs from the shows TUTS has performed over the last 55 years.

The full cast and creative team has been set for Pearl Cleage’s Blues for an Alabama Sky at Barrington Stage Company, directed by Candis C. Jones.

Mint Theater Company will return to Theatre Row with the American Premiere of Elizabeth Baker’s Partnership, directed by Jackson Grace Gay.

An all-girl mariachi band? In the 70s when women can’t be mariachis? We’ll just see about that! American Mariachi is an uplifting comedy about family, the freedom to go after your dreams, and the music that unites us –– played live on stage!

Little Radical Theatrics presents Roald Dahls Matilda the Musical!

As rehearsals begin today the full cast and creative team have been announced for the new expanded version of Kathy and Stella Solve a Murder!, the sell-out smash-hit of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2022, which returns this summer for a four week run at Underbelly at the Edinburgh Fringe from 2 - 27 August before touring to Bristol Old Vic from 13 - 30 September and HOME Manchester from 5 - 21 October.
