There are certain musical theatre pieces that audiences see on Broadway and believe the version they saw is the only way the material can be interpreted. Beauty and the Beast definitely falls into that category for the sole reason of that once you’ve seen how Disney produced it originally, it’s impossible to see it done in a less spectacular way.

BABY Will Return Off-Broadway Starring Alice Ripley

Out of the Box Theatrics has announced a return engagement for its site-specific production of the Broadway musical Baby, starring Tony Award winner Alice Ripley (Next to Normal). The production, directed and choreographed by Mr. Paulini, will play from April 17 through May 10, 2020 in a 60-seat loft at Theatrelab (357 West 36th Street, 3rd Floor). Opening night is Monday, April 27.

First photo of the Out of the Box Theatrics' limited engagement of Sybille Pearson (book), Richard Maltby, Jr.(lyrics) and David Shire's (music) heart-warming musical, BABY, are now available. The production has extended through Saturday, December 21, 2019 due to strong ticket sales. Directed and choreographed by Ethan Paulini, BABY stars Tony Award-winner Alice Ripley and plays a site-specific loft in midtown Manhattan (14 W 45th Street).
