Goodspeed Musicals has announced the cast for the world premiere musical comedy Summer Stock, the second production of its 60th anniversary season. Filled with exuberant dance numbers and hits from the American songbook, it is adapted from the MGM/Warner Bros. film Summer Stock and will appear on the Goodspeed stage from July 7 – August 27 in East Haddam, Connecticut.

Riverside Theatre, led by Producing Artistic Director/CEO Allen D. Cornell,  Managing Director/COO Jon R. Moses, and Director of Special Initiatives/CFO Patti Rooney, celebrates its 50th Anniversary season by presenting the musical spectacular, 42nd Street.

This week, on Friday, February 24th, on the anniversary of the Russian invasion, Ukrainian-born theatre writer and composer Ernie Bird will present a 30-minute excerpt of his new musical, The Ukrainian War Diary.

Joseph Macchia presents Just In Time For Christmas A Cabaret. Hosted by Peter Mac as Judy Garland and Dr. John Schaefer as Bea Arthur the evening will feature performances by Michael McAssey,Gary Lizardo, Tom Gamblin, Amanda Robles, Will Perez, Erika Amato,Caitlin McBride, Jae W Brown and Zach Balquin. The show's resplendent color palette, anchored by a stage floor covered in dappled brush strokes, pays homage to the French impressionist school of painting, notably that of Claude Monet. 

Critically-acclaimed performers Erika Amato (Flashdance - The Musical), Aaron Lee Battle (Bistro Award), and Meg Flather (MAC and Bistro Awards) have been added to the starry lineup for producer Joseph Macchia's first annual ONE HEART ONE CURE CONCERT, hosted by Broadway's Doreen Montalvo (On Your Feet, In The Heights) at the Baruch Performing Arts Center on October 14th at 8pm.
