On Monday, May 6, SundanceTV's commitment to innovation in storytelling will be showcased through the new, short form series State of the Union, produced by See-Saw Films. Debuting on SundanceTV, Sundance Now and other digital platforms same day, the highly anticipated series, comprised of ten ten-minute episodes, stars Oscar®-nominee Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl, A Private War) and Emmy®-winner Chris O'Dowd (Bridesmaids, Get Shorty).

Endeavor Content, the scripted television and feature film financing, development and sales division of Endeavor (formerly WME I IMG), will launch international sales at MIPCOM on See-Saw Films' short-form comedy series 'State of the Union' directed by Academy Award(R)-nominated, BAFTA and Emmy-winner Stephen Frears' (A Very English Scandal, Philomena), written by Academy Award(R)-nominated and BAFTA-winning writer Nick Hornby (Brooklyn, An Education) and starring Academy Award(R) and BAFTA-nominated Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl, Hostiles) and BAFTA-nominated Chris O'Dowd (Bridesmaids, 'Get Shorty'). The series is set to air on SundanceTV, sundancetv.com and Sundance Now in Q1 2019.

Critically acclaimed and multi-award-winning film and TV director Stephen Frears (A Very English Scandal, Philomena) is set to direct the ten-part short form comedy series 'State of the Union' written by the Academy Award®-nominated and BAFTA-winning writer Nick Hornby (Brooklyn, An Education) and starring Academy Award® and BAFTA-nominated Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl, Hostiles) and BAFTA-nominated Chris O'Dowd (Bridesmaids, 'Get Shorty'), it was announced by See-Saw Films' COO of Television, Hakan Kousetta, Head of Television, Jamie Laurenson and Jan Diedrichsen, General Manager, SundanceTV and Sundance Now. Shooting will commence in summer 2018 in London. See-Saw Films is producing the series for SundanceTV.

Sony Music Masterworks has announced the release of How To Talk To Girls At Parties (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack),the musical companion to the hugely anticipated new film from award-winning writer-director, John Cameron Mitchell (Hedwig and the Angry Inch), based on the short story by Neil Gaiman (American Gods, Norse Mythology). The album arrives at all music retailers and streaming services on Friday, May 11. Out today ahead of the full soundtrack release is the single track, 'Between the Breaths' from beloved indie-darlings, Mitski and Xiu Xiu. The A24 release of a See-Saw Films/Little Punk production, How to Talk to Girls at Parties opens in theaters across the U.S on May 25. StudioCanal UK releases the film across the UK on May 11.
Conan Doyle Estate Settles MR. HOLMES Lawsuit

The Sir Arthur Conan Doyle estate has settled a copyright infringement lawsuit over the recent Sherlock Holmes film, MR. HOLMES. The estate of the Holmes creator claimed the Ian McKellen film from Miramax used stories still under copyright.
