The smash-hit musical comedy, 44 – THE MUSICAL has announced a four-week extension. The musical played to sold-out audiences in Chicago and Los Angeles and has been playing to sold-out audiences in New York since first preview in October.

Only two new musicals are opening on Broadway in the first half of the 2025-2026 season: The Queen of Versailles and Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York). 44: The Obama Musical is returning for second terms at the Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City from May 2 – June 22, 2025, and then at The Studebaker Theater in the historic Fine Arts Building in Chicago from August 23 – September 21, 2025.
