Broadway In Chicago is thrilled to announce its next season will go on sale to the public Sunday, Oct. 6.  The season includes:  the Pre-Broadway World Premiere of the new musical THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, MOULIN ROUGE! THE MUSICAL, WHAT THE CONSTITUTION MEANS TO ME, MY FAIR LADY, SIX and JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR.

The UK premiere of the irresistible new musical comedy High Fidelity, based on the acclaimed British novel by Nick Hornby (State Of The Union/About A Boy/Fever Pitch), is the second production in Paul Taylor-Mills' inaugural season at The Turbine Theatre. Directed and choreographed by Tom Jackson Greaves, the first musical to open at the new Battersea Power Station based theatre, runs from 21 October a?" 7 December, with press night on Friday 1 November 2019.

Regent's Park Open Air Theatre have today announced their 2020 season which opens with their first newly commissioned musical, 101 Dalmatians (16 May a?' 21 June), based on Dodie Smith's iconic story set in the heart of Regent's Park with book by Zinnie Harris and music and lyrics by Douglas Hodge. The production is directed by Timothy Sheader, with puppetry designed and directed by Toby Olié. Also confirmed are Katrina Lindsay (Set and Costume Designer), Liam Steel (Choreographer), Sarah Travis (Musical Supervisor and Orchestrator), Howard Hudson (Lighting Designer) and Tarek Merchant (Musical Director). Casting is by Jill Green, with children's casting by Verity Naughton.

The 2017 Olivier awarding-winning production from Regent's Park Open Air Theatre goes on sale to the general public on September 6, 2019. 

Just before the company of Torch Song started their previews, director Drew McOnie and actor Matthew Needham took some time off from their hectic rehearsal schedule to sit down with us and talk about their show. The play follows drag queen Arnold Beckoff on his quest for true love in 1970s New York.

Broadway In Chicago is proud to announce that the 50th Anniversary North American tour and Olivier Award-winning production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's iconic musical Jesus Christ Superstar will play Broadway In Chicago's Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W. Randolph) from August 11 a?" 23, 2020.  Jesus Christ Superstar will participate in this year's Broadway In Chicago Summer Concert at Millennium Park on Monday, August 12, 2019.

Final casting has been announced for the Turbine Theatre's inaugural production, Torch Song. Alongside the previously announced Matthew Needham (Arnold), Daisy Boulton (Laurel), Dino Fetscher (Ed) and Rish Shah (Alan), are Jay Lycurgo (David) and Bernice Stegers (Ma).

It was the 2016 Regent's Park production that landed Jesus its first Olivier Award, for Best Theatre Revival. It's this version that has now made its way to the Barbican and (sorry, not sorry): THANK HEAVENS.
