Australia's leading theatre producer John Frost today announced the four young actresses who will play the role of Young Princess Fiona during the Melbourne season of the multi-million dollar musical comedy SHREK THE MUSICAL. This lavish and fun musical plays at Her Majesty's Theatre, Melbourne from 16 February. The role of Young Princess Fiona will be shared in Melbourne by Charlize Costantin (9 years old, from Montmorency), Lilah Crotty (10, Coburg), Isobel Lauber (9, Doreen) and Charlotte Lundy (12, Highton).

THE PRINCE OF EGYPT, the new musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell), a book by Philip LaZebnik (Mulan, Pocahontas) and based on the celebrated DreamWorks Animation film, has announced its children's casting with the roles of Young Miriam, Leah and Young Hebrew Girl being shared by Mia Lakha, Iman Pabani and Hannah Selk and the roles of Young Aaron, Young Egyptian Boy and Young Midian Boy being shared by Leo Babet, Jonah Collier and Taylor Jenkins.

Actress and comedian Debra Wilson will host the 24th Annual Art Directors Guild Excellence in Production Design Awards (ADG, IATSE Local 800) on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020, at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown. The announcement was made today by ADG Awards Producer Scott Moses, ADG.

CMT Mainstage, featuring local performers ages 14-20 in two rotating casts*, will present Shrek The Musical. 'Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek....' And thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Based on the DreamWorks films and the book by William Steig, the stage production has music by Tony Award-winner Jeanine Tesori and book and lyrics by Pulitzer Prize-winner David Lindsay-Abaire. Shrek The Musical features memorable songs including Big, Bright Beautiful World, Story of My Life, Freak Flag, Build a Wall, I Think I Got You Beat, and Who I'd Be.
