Due to huge demand, new tickets to the spectacular new musical Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory will go on sale on Friday 22 June at 4pm. Roald Dahl's treasured tale will be playing at Sydney's Capitol Theatre from 8 January 2019, produced by John Frost, Craig Donnell, Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures, Langley Park Productions and Neal Street Productions.

Roald Dahl's treasured tale is now Australia's Golden Ticket! It was announced today that theatre producers John Frost, Craig Donnell, Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures, Langley Park Productions and Neal Street Productions will be bringing the spectacular new musical Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to Sydney's Capitol Theatre in January 2019.

Classic Stage Company's production of the world premiere of FIRE AND AIR, a new play by Tony Award winner Terrence McNally, directed by John Doyle, will extend its limited engagement through Friday, March 2 at CSC (136 East 13th Street). The cast of FIRE AND AIR features James Cusati-Moyer (Nijinsky), John Glover (Dima), Douglas Hodge (Diaghilev), Jay Armstrong Johnson (Massine), Marsha Mason (Dunya) and Marin Mazzie (Misia).

The Schimmel Center presents American Dance Spectacular! on Saturday, October 21 at 7:30 p.m., exploring the history of American popular dance throughout the 20th century, including the Charleston, Lindy hop, jitterbug, twist, voguing, and more. The performance is directed, co-written and created by Daniel C. Levine (Broadway's Les Mis rables, Chicago, and Mamma Mia!) with choreography by Al Blackstone (Fox's So You Think You Can Dance), music direction by Bryan Perri (Broadway's Wicked and Next to Normal), and book by Susan Batten (Lifetime's Showing Roots) together with six Broadway dancers backed by three vocalists and a live band.
