American Dance Machine for the 21st Century has released its latest incredibly imaginative virtual video, “Moses Supposes” from the movie Singin’ In The Rain, performed by 8 terrific tap dancers around New York City.

American Dance Machine for the 21st Century has released its next virtual video, “Cool” from West Side Story, performed by 10 extraordinary dancers around New York City. “Cool” was directed by Tony Award nominee Joshua Bergasse, with choreography by Jerome Robbins recreated by Robert La Fosse.

No Bully (nobully.org), the leading anti-bullying nonprofit in the US, celebrated its annual Broadway Against Bullying charity cabaret in NYC on March 9, 2020. Tony and Emmy Award-winning producer Michael J. Moritz returned to direct this year's one-night-only show at Sony Hall.

Seven-time Tony® Award-winning producer Jamie deRoy brought her acclaimed Jamie deRoy & friends cabaret show to New York's famed Birdland, Sunday, February 16, at 5:30 p.m. The one-night only show was part of the club's Broadway at Birdland Concert Series.

In the theater community Jamie deRoy is a well known Broadway producer but in the Friars community she is also acclaimed as an entertainer. Friar Jamie deRoy furthermore has the distinction of being the 8th woman to become a Friar subsequent to the men's only club changing it's rules in 1988. Jamie deRoy who is usually the earliest to spot an opportunity had to wait behind the likes of Liza Minnelli, Joan Rivers Gloria Allred, and Brooke Shields who were also among the first to join the Friars Club.

Nowadays it's quite common for a show to have '& Friends' in it's title. I don't know if Broadway Producer and entertainer Jamie deRoy invented the concept, but over the last 30 years she sure has perfected the inclusion of having her uber talented friends perform in Jamie deRoy & friends variety shows. In fact, some folks must think '& friends' is Jamie's last name, she has an impressive contact list (remember rollodex).

The silent auction item at The New York Pops annual gala/concert held at Carnegie Hall and the Mandarin Hotel in April, offered a pianist to play at your private party complete with catering by Trattoria del Arte. The Pops Concert and Gala's proceeds help finance The Pops/Ed Programs. For the third year, the winning bidder got much more than she bargained for. Not only did the advertised pianist (Stephen Sorokoff) appear, but also a slew of New York's must celebrated keyboard artists and entertainers joined the festivities.

To mark the CD release, Barnes & Noble hosted an exclusive 'Live at Barnes & Noble' event featuring members of the Pretty Woman: THE MUSICAL cast yesterday, November 15th, at Barnes & Noble's Upper East Side location. Birdland Theater, the new venue spawned from the legendary Birdland on 44th street had a 'soft' opening this summer, followed by a bunch of celebrity openings in September. It had another entertainment first last night because Jamie deRoy brought her friends and her renowned Jamie deRoy & friends Variety show to this great new performance space. The evening had all the glamour and excitement of a Broadway opening night, the kind of evening Ms. deRoy can usually be found at.
