Doubt to Launch National Tour in September 2006

DOUBT, the critically acclaimed play by John Patrick Shanley, will launch a national tour in September, 2006. The tour is being booked by The Road Company.

The Broadway mega-hit loosely based upon the film 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' is also favored to win Best Director (Mike Nichols, 6-to-5-odds) and Best Featured Actress (Sara Ramirez, 3 to 2).

Gabriel Bryne to Star in Roundabout's A Touch of the Poet

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) is proud to present Gabriel Byrne as 'Cornelius Melody' in a new Broadway production of Eugene O'Neill's drama A Touch of the Poet, directed by Doug Hughes at Studio 54 on Broadway (254 West 54th Street).

NBC's 'Today Show' will feature a piece on the critically acclaimed play, DOUBT, by John Patrick Shanley. The piece will run on Thursday, May 12. In New York, the 'Today Show' runs from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM on WNBC-TV, Channel 4. Check local listings.

Doubt Featured Tonight on NewsHour with Jim Lehrer

Broadway's critically acclaimed DOUBT is scheduled to be featured this evening on 'The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer'. The program will feature interviews with author John Patrick Shanley, winner of the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for Drama for DOUBT, and stars Cherry Jones and Brían F. O'Byrne.
