Flying Over Sunset has returned to previews on Broadway! Learn more about the cast bringing the musical to life!

Original Productions Theatre, which focuses on new works, will present the world premiere of “Bound for Albania,” a drama by Columbus playwright Johnrick Holes (“Nighthawks,” “Shakespeare’s Bloody Deed”) about a retired nurse inspired to work at an Albanian refugee camp to help separated families of Syrians fleeing their war-torn country. Performances are 8 p.m. Nov. 4-6 and Nov. 11-13, and 2 p.m. Nov. 7 and 14 at the Abbey Theater of Dublin, 5600 Post Road, Dublin. Tickets cost $25, or $20 for students, senior citizens and matinees. Second Stage Theater has announced a series of social justice initiatives centered around the upcoming Broadway production of Lynn Nottage’s play, Clyde’s, directed by Kate Whoriskey. Clyde’s centers around the lives of four formerly incarcerated kitchen staff working at a sandwich shop and looking to reclaim their lives. 

The world-famous Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will march down the streets of New York City for its 95th annual holiday celebration later this month. Broadway’s best musicals will perform including SIX, Moulin Rouge! and one of Broadway’s longest running hits, Wicked; along with a sneak preview of NBC’s Annie Live! In addition, the show-stopping Radio City Rockettes will bring their signature magic to Herald Square.

For those seeking an exciting and non-traditional holiday show, Prima Theatre's ON THE NAUGHTY LIST promises to be the freshest show of the season. 'Think of it as a mash-up between a holiday concert with a comedic and provoking TED talk,' says Prima's Executive Artistic Producer, Mitch Nugent.

The Riverside Hawks, the legendary Harlem based nonprofit program focused on providing children 5-18 years-of-age, an opportunity to improve their academic and career prospects using basketball as a motivating vehicle, is pleased to announce the celebration of its 60thAnniversary Gala, to be held at the Plaza, Terrace Room on Tuesday, December 7, 2021.

Jacob Khalil is a fairly recent resident of New York. He moved here only a year ago after time spent in Texas and Utah and Las Vegas. His style is remarkably eclectic. At the root, he is a jazz artist, but he also dabbles in piano-based pop, standards, and straight-up show tunes. He also is very at home as a singer/songwriter. Jacob Khalil is exactly the musician that New York was designed for. He is a very talented singer in search of an individual voice.

The Phantom of the Opera is officially back and Broadway is Broadway again! As a part of the celebration, composer Andrew Lloyd Webber and producer Cameron Mackintosh took the stage for a special speech, and afterwards Webber took to the streets for a special DJ set in front of The Majestic. BroadwayWorld was there for the big night!

Laurie and Adam famously starred as husband and wife Ian and Jane Beale in BBC's EastEnders. The rest of the cast of “LOOKING GOOD DEAD” includes Harry Long as Roy Grace, Ian Houghton as Jonas, Leon Stewart as Branson, Gemma Stroyan as Bella, Luke Ward-Wilkinson as Max Bryce, Mylo McDonald as Mick and Natalie Boakye as Janie.

Linzi Hately will join the cast of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat when it plays at the Bath Street venue next year.

Three-time Emmy Award-winner Uzo Aduba is on her way back to Broadway, this time courtesy of Second Stage Theatre. The star of In Treatment and Orange is the New Black will join two-time Emmy Award-winner Ron Cephas Jones (This is Us, Truth Be Told, Between Riverside and Crazy), Reza Salazar (Sweat), Edmund Donovan (Greater Clements) and Kara Young (Halfway Bitches Go Straight to Heaven) in Clyde's.

Thurman will star as Arianna Huffington, the businesswoman and co-founder of The Huffington Post, who was an Uber board member. She joins Emmy winner Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Kyle Chandler.
