The Doo Wop Project pays homage to the roots of group singing and celebrates the legacy of African American harmonies that laid the foundation for American pop and rock. Tracing back to the early days of tight harmonies on inner-city street corners, this extraordinary show has been embraced by audiences worldwide for its authenticity and vocal excellence.

The FSCJ Artist Series presents The Doo Wop Project as they bring their the dynamic, rave-reviewed celebration of a beloved music genre, to Jacksonville on Saturday, November 4 at 8:00 p.m. at the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts.

BIRDLAND THEATER will present the return of “Scunge! A Mobbed-Up Christmas Carol” – written by and starring Broadway’s Dominic Scaglione, Jr., Andy Karl, Dominic Nolfi, and Matt Bogart – from Friday, December 16 through Sunday, December 18.

The City of Vista's Moonlight Amphitheatre will produce a new event for the holiday season. 'Jingle Terrace Live' will feature nine nights of holiday light shows, concerts and movie nights. Except for the two concert nights, admission is free.

Broadway veterans Carly Hughes (American Wife, Pippin), Julian Elijah Martinez (Wu Tang: An American Saga), and Tony nominee Charl Brown (Motown), join creator and Camp film star Steven Cutts (Hairspray) along with others in a special tribute to Black Wall Street, the thriving Black commercial district of Tulsa, Oklahoma in the early 1900s.

The Doo Wop Project returns with two shows on Sunday, June 27 at 2pm and 5pm.  Seating will be socially distanced, outside at the tent next to The Playhouse.

DWP takes the audience on a journey from the songs of groups like the Crests, Belmonts and Flamingos through their influences on the sounds of Smokey Robinson, The Temptations, and The Four Seasons all the way to 'DooWopified' versions of modern musicians like Michael Jackson, Jason Mraz and Maroon 5. The Doo Wop Project comes to The Ridgefield Playhouse Wednesday, March 25 at 7:30pm, part of Northern Trust Broadway & Cabaret Series with support from Teed & Brown, and Pepsi Rock Series powered by Xfinity.

Kean Stage welcomes The Doo Wop Project to Wilkins Theatre, 1000 Morris Ave., Union, at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 14.
