Christine Boylan (THE PUNISHER, LEVERAGE), Ellie Pyle (SOURCES, BEGINNINGS), and Ryan McCurdy (ONCE, PIP'S ISLAND) have announced the official addition of a New York chapter to Bespoke Plays, which will make it the only bicoastal production company dedicated to industry readings of new plays. Boylan and Pyle will continue to co-produce Los Angeles with McCurdy as the New York associate.

The Directors Company (Michael Parva, Artistic Director; Leah Michalos, Producing Director) is pleased to announce the next reading in its reading series, a new play by Anastasia Traina, directed by Jean Wagner, featuring Anna Bikales, Scott Cohen, Dominic Fumusa, Timothy Britten Parker,Joanne Tucker, and Ilana Levine.

Award-winning international theatre company ODC Ensemble, based in Athens, Greece, with New York City's The Directors Company, proudly present the New York premiere of the innovative cinematic opera 'OEDIPUS: Sex with Mum Was Blinding.' Conceived, written, and directed by 2018-19 Fulbright Artist's Award recipient Elli Papakonstantinou, 'OEDIPUS: Sex with Mum Was Blinding' has original music composed by Tilemachos Moussas and Julia Kent performed live into an array of surreal cinematic environments created by Stephanie Sherriff. 'OEDIPUS: Sex with Mum Was Blinding' will play a strictly limited engagement at BAM Fisher (Fishman Space), located at 321 Ashland Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11217, from Wednesday, September 25 - Sunday, September 29, 2019.

Directed by Michael Wilson (A Trip to Bountiful) the ATF company stars Matt Rodin and Jeb Brown (Beautiful), featuring Amelia Cormack (Kinky Boots Tour), Marlene Ginader (Once Tour), Olivia Griffin, Max Sangerman (Smokey Joe's Cafe), and Jeremy Sevelovitz (Chasing The Song).

Adirondack Theatre Festival Producing Artistic Director, Chad Rabinovitz, announces the fourth and final show of the season, Beau, by Douglas Lyons & Ethan D. Pakchar. The show runs August 3 - 9, 2019 at the Charles R. Wood Theater in Downtown Glens Falls, NY. Max Crumm (You're The One That I Want) and Natasha Yvette Williams (Waitress) will star in a private industry reading of Douglas Lyons's new family comedy Chicken & Biscuits. Directed by Zhailon Levingston (Neptune), the full cast includes Danny Johnson (Daredevil, Luke Cage, Gotham), Pat Bowie (The Trip to Bountiful), Gayle Turner (The Wiz), Akira Golz (Matilda), Alana Raquel Bowers (What to Send Up, When it Goes Down), and Justin Sams (When We Rise).

Immerse yourself in the wild and indomitable female spirit with the Third Annual Andromeda's Sisters Gala to benefit the dance theater company The Neo-Political Cowgirls. The compelling three-day journey includes play readings, a private estate fundraiser and an interactive creativity workshop on June 14th 22nd and 23rd which can be enjoyed collectively or individually. The brain child of Kate Mueth who is the founder of the 501 ( c ) 3 company Neo-Political Cowgirls, Andromeda's Sisters is an arts and advocacy forum to create more work for women in theater and to increase the female voice in the narrative of our society's stories. Mueth brings her vibrant, unconventional, mind-expanding magic to the event. This is not your typical write-a-check and have a cocktail fundraiser. Guests will be treated to talented voices of the theater, advocacy, and legal world to expand their horizons and network with fascinating women. This is the uniquely fertile soil where community, arts and advocacy merge to grow both roots and blossoms. And men are most welcome to join in the fun.

The Frank Silvera Writers' Workshop will present Douglas Lyons's new family comedy Chicken & Biscuits Monday May 13th at 7pm; at The Billie Holiday Theatre. Chicken & Biscuits, written in residence at The Directors Company, has previously been selected and performed in the Front Porch Reading Series and Queen Theatre's 2019 New American Voices Reading Series.

Beginning January 20th, 2019, award-winning musical theatre composer and singer-songwriter, Drew Gasparini will produce and host a brand new live concert series at Rockwood Music Hall (Stage 3) in New York City showcasing local writers and performers.

Everyday Inferno Theatre Company is thrilled to present the world premiere of QUICKSAND, adapted from Nella Larsen's novel by Regina Robbins and directed by Anais Koivisto.
