When the tour of MATILDA premiered in Dallas in September of 2015, the musical was plagued with sound issues, making Tim Minchin's intricately witty score impossible to follow. Fortunately, in its return to town (now at Fort Worth's Bass Hall), the Tony and Olivier Award-winning musical has been revamped to create an easier listening experience, resulting in a perfect evening of theatre for "miracles" of all ages.
Matilda is a beloved story written by Roald Dahl and enjoyed by children all over the world. It's hugely popular story led Dennis Kelly to adapt the story and Tim Minchin to pen the music and lyrics for MATILDA THE MUSICAL. As it first premiered in in UK in 2010, MATILDA THE MUSICAL made its way to the United States and Broadway to debut in 2013. With the huge success in the UK and US, the show went on to tour in the US in 2015. This family-friendly show is making its way across the country and continues to entertain audience members from three to one hundred.
