Cape Ballet Africa will celebrate its first birthday in March with a new triple bill, as well as marking its debut at the Artscape Opera House.

Rodgers & Hammerstein’s cinematic treasure The Sound of Music will be broadcast on ABC on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at 7/6c. The musical’s official social media pages will host a live watch party during the airing on December 15.

The young stars for Cape Town City Ballet's production of THE NUTCRACKER have been announced!

Cape Town City Ballet heralds the start of its bumper summer programme with captivating festive season favourite THE NUTCRACKER.

The 9th South African International Ballet Competition (SAIBC) came to a spectacular close at the Artscape Opera House on Saturday 30 July 2022.

Western Cape born, Siphe November, South African ballet dancer, who at 23 already has a soaring international career, returns to South Africa to perform in Cape Town City Ballet's Romeo and Juliet for one performance only.

The full cast schedule has also been announced for the season, so patrons can be sure to book to enjoy the international guests, as well as a selection of the most gifted South African dancers.

The forthcoming South African Ballet International Ballet Competition (SAIBC) will  once again welcome capacity audiences and international judges and competitors in person to the beautiful Artscape Opera House from 26 to 30 July 2022. 

Bookings are open for Cape Town City Ballet's exhilarating winter season, which runs from 4 to 28 August at Artscape in the Opera House.
