Just last night, New York Stage and Film celebrated its annual Winter Gala, honoring six-time Tony Award-nominated producer and philanthropist Diana DiMenna, and Academy Award and four-time Golden Globe-nominated and Tony Award-winning actor and producer Tom Hulce. The Winter Gala, a fundraising event to support New York Stage and Film's year-round theater and film development initiatives, was held at The Ziegfeld Ballroom (141 West 54th Street, New York City).

As the classical community begins to celebrate Beethoven's 250th anniversary in the 2019-2020 season, the world-renowned Emerson String Quartet kicks off the opening of The Great Lakes Chamber Music Festival on Saturday, June 15, 2019 with an unforgettable journey of the complete Beethoven Cycle. Presenting Six concerts in one week, the Cycle 'provides a musical biography of Beethoven's life, highlighting milestones in his musical development,' notes the Emerson's violinist, Eugene Drucker. The nine-time GRAMMY Award-winning Quartet has firmly established its authority in interpreting Beethoven's string quartets since its first Beethoven Cycle performed in 1980 through its complete recording of his quartets on Deutsche Grammophon which won a 1998 GRAMMY Award. Segerstrom Center for the Arts welcomes the annual return of acclaimed ensemble, the Emerson String Quartet on May 14, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. in a program that will feature the first West Coast performance of Shostakovich and the Black Monk: A Russian Fantasy. Co-created by writer-director, James Glossman and Emerson violinist Philip Setzer, this new multi-media work features seven actors in addition to the quartet and depicts the trials and challenges of composer Dmitri Shostakovich and his unwavering quest to write an opera based on Chekhov's mystical tale The Black Monk. CBS All Access' INTERROGATION Begins Production

CBS All Access today announced production has officially begun in Albuquerque, N.M., on INTERROGATION, the service's new true-crime series where the viewer becomes the detective. The series' first nine episodes will be available to binge in any order with each episode structured around an interrogation. This multi-linear approach will give viewers the opportunity to follow their instincts and develop their own interpretations of the facts of the case and ultimately decide innocence or guilt. The shocking season finale will be released at a later date.

American Conservatory Theater Raises $900,000 At Its Fall Celebration
