The text, suggested by the memoirs of Gypsy Rose Lee and written by Authur Laurents, is economical and succinct. Jule Styne’s music varies from catchy tunes to lush, foreboding orchestral maneuvers, and Sondheim’s nascent lyrics are simple and accessible, yet cut to the core of each scene’s objective.

WICKED has been casting its spell over Melbourne since March. Final tickets go on sale this week for the Melbourne season at the Regent Theatre, with pre-sales from today and GP sales from Friday 17 May.

Due to enormous demand, four additional weeks of the musical phenomenon WICKED have been released for the Brisbane season up until 17 November, with general public tickets from 10 May.

WICKED, Hartford's most popular musical, will return to The Bushnell on April 24 through May 12, 2024.  

WICKED is seeking new talent for its Broadway and touring companies. The show will hold an open call in Los Angeles on Monday, April 8.
