BEETLEJUICE, the new Broadway musical comedy presented by Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures (Mark Kaufman) and Langley Park Productions (Kevin McCormick) will open on Broadway at the Winter Garden Theatre (1634 Broadway) on Thursday, April 25, 2019. Hennepin Theatre Trust announced today that individual tickets for the Minneapolis premiere of DEAR EVAN HANSEN will go on sale on Friday, Feb. 22. DEAR EVAN HANSEN comes to the historic Orpheum Theatre (910 Hennepin Ave.) as part of the 2018-2019 Bank of America Broadway on Hennepin series Tuesday, May 28 to Sunday, June 9, 2019. Due to unprecedented demand during the presale, tickets are expected to sell quickly.

The first national touring production of the 2017 Best Musical Tony Award-winner Dear Evan Hansen will return to Chicago by popular demand for a limited 12-week engagement July 7 through September 27, 2020, at Broadway In Chicago's James M. Nederlander Theatre (24 W. Randolph). Individual tickets for the Dear Evan Hansen return engagement will go on-sale to the public Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at 10 a.m. Central, and pre-sale tickets will be available starting Monday, February 18 through Broadway In Chicago's eblast and Dear Evan Hansen's social media channels.

Both profoundly moving and profoundly disturbing, DEAR EVAN HANSEN is one of the most deeply troubling musicals I've seen. I left DEAR EVAN HANSEN with a swirl of mixed emotions. The musical is a meditation on social media and how it makes the social isolation and challenges of high school all the more difficult.

The world-premiere of  HAMILTON: THE EXHIBITION, scheduled to debut in Chicago  on Northerly Island (1535 S. Linn White Drive) this spring, has announced a new opening with its first public admissions now set for April 27.

Lin-Manuel Miranda's comedy hip hop group Freestyle Love Supreme celebrated opening night of their new off-Broadway show tonight!

Motown the Musical will conclude its run on 20 April 2019 having celebrated over 1330 performances since its London premiere in February 2016. The show received its world premiere in April 2013 in New York and opened in the West End three years later. Motown the Musical closes in London in advance of major refurbishments taking place at the Shaftesbury Theatre, while the UK tour continues across the country.

Producers Donna Gigliotti and Glenn Weiss today announced 11 key members of the production team for the 91st Oscars, which will air live on Sunday, Feb. 24, on ABC. It was previously announced that Weiss would be returning as director for his fourth consecutive year, while sharing producing duties with Gigliotti for the first time.

Producer Jeffrey Seller and Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Cincinnati presented by TriHealth announce a digital lottery for HAMILTON tickets will begin in conjunction with the show's first performance (February 19) in Cincinnati at the Aronoff Center. Forty (40) tickets will be sold for every performance for $10 each. The digital lottery will open at 11:00 AM ET on Sunday, February 17 for tickets to the Tuesday, February 19 performance. Subsequent digital lotteries will begin two days prior to each performance.

Producer Stacey Mindich announced today that the North American tour of Dear Evan Hansen, which launched September 25, 2018 in Denver, has recouped its investment at a remarkable pace-after only 12 weeks on tour.

After a shaky start (sorry to all you folks who got bumped from the Wednesday performance) the 2017 Tony Award winner, "Dear Evan Hansen" is here at the Paramount. Now, I managed to catch this phenomenal show on Broadway when it was still in previews, so I got to see the original cast. The cast I'm sure all you fans of the show are familiar with from the cast recording from having listened to it over and over again. Well not to worry, as much as I loved the originals, this cast is just as sublime and not a carbon copy but putting in their own spin on this incredible story and characters.

Producer Jeffrey Seller and Broadway in Detroit announced today that tickets for the Detroit engagement of HAMILTON will be available online through Ticketmaster Verified Fan, on Friday, January 25 at 10:00 AM ET. Verified Fan is a new fan-facing technology from Ticketmaster that allows pre-registered fans to unlock access to tickets without competing against scalpers and bots.

Complete casting has been announced for the Canadian production of the multi Tony Award-winning musical. Performances begin March 5, 2019 at Toronto's historic Royal Alexandra Theatre.
