Roundabout Theatre Company has announced complete casting for the Special Benefit Concert Reading of The Pirates of Penzance. The concert will be taking place on Monday, October 17, 2022 at the American Airlines Theatre. 

Concord Theatricals / Craft Recordings will soon release the cast recording of the critically acclaimed Broadway revival of the New York City Center Encores! production of James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods on September 30 on streaming and digital platforms worldwide. This fall, freeFall continues their American Character Series with All Things Equal: The Life and Trials of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. On Saturday October 15th, Sierra Boggess will teach two in-person auditioning classes at Discovering Broadway Inc. in Indiana. Carnegie Hall has announced that conductor Harry Bicket has agreed to step in for Bernard Labadie, leading the Orchestra of St. Luke's on Thursday, November 17 at 8:00 p.m. Mr. Labadie has withdrawn from this performance due to planned recovery from surgery. Additionally, soprano Elena Villalón will replace previously announced Lauren Snouffer for this concert.

Roundabout Theatre Company will present a special Benefit Concert Reading of The Pirates of Penzance, the Tony Award-winning musical adapted by Rupert Holmes, with music by Arthur Sullivan, libretto by W.S. Gilbert and direction by Scott Ellis. 

Skylight Music Theatre will stream Kate Baldwin’s Broadway Comes Home, a concert and documentary film, Friday, Sept. 9 through Sunday, Sept. 18, 2022, on Skylight’s website. Broadway Comes Home features footage from Baldwin’s intimate concert last year in front of a small, invited audience on the stage of Skylight’s Cabot Theatre.
