Comedian, actor, television writer, author and musician PAUL REISER is one of Hollywood's most prolific creatives—and he shows no signs of slowing down.

HBO announced today that the critically acclaimed comedy series The Righteous Gemstones has been renewed for a third season. The nine-episode second season of The Righteous Gemstones, starring Danny McBride, John Goodman, Edi Patterson and Adam Devine, kicked off earlier this year.

Ghost and Volbeat will be co-headlining across the US, and to commemorate the tour, the bands have teamed up with Blackened Recordings to release a limited edition Double A-Side 7” featuring each band’s contributions to The Metallica Blacklist charity album: Ghost’s cover of “Enter Sandman” on ‘Side G’ and Volbeat’s “Don’t Tread On Me” on ‘Side V.’

Created, written and executive produced by Danny McBride (HBO’s “Vice Principals” and “Eastbound & Down”), and marking his third HBO comedy series from Rough House Pictures, The Righteous Gemstones tells the story of a world-famous televangelist family with a long tradition of deviance, greed and charitable work.

Jamie Lee Curtis will star in the final installment of the current trilogy. Richards joined Curtis in 2021's Halloween Kills, both playing roles that they had played in the original 1978 film. Since Richards had received positive receptions returning to the 2021 film, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star will have an 'expanded storyline'.

The cast features Danny McBride, Adam Devine, John Goodman, Cassidy Freeman, Tim Baltz, Walton Loggins, Eric Andre, Jessica Lowe, and Jennifer Nettles.
