Santigold has announced the 10 Years Golder Tour to commemorate the recent 10th anniversary of her self-titled debut album. She will be performing her debut album in its entirety as well as songs from throughout her career including her latest mixtape-style album I Don't Want: The Gold Fire Sessions(Downtown). Several dates have sold out on the tour which kicks off next Tuesday, April 30 in Denver. Today, Naeem (FKA Spank Rock) who guests on “Shove It” on Santigold's classic debut and Amanda Blank who toured as Santigold's support on the tour for that album have been announced as support for this 10 Years Golder Tour.

Rodrigo y Gabriela's new album, METTAVOLUTION, can now be heard in its entirety via NPR's First Listen. ATO will officially release the Dave Sardy-produced album next Friday, April 26.

innova Recordings and Cantaloupe Music announce the May 10, 2019 joint release of The Passion, a new album featuring the music of composer Jeffrey Brooks, recorded by the Bang on a Can All-Stars and Contemporaneous, and conducted by David Bloom. The Passion includes the world premiere recordings of After the Treewatcher, Capriccio on the Departure of a Beloved Brother, and The Passion. The album was produced and recorded by Damian leGassick and recorded at the Power Station at BerkleeNYC in May 2018, and is the first joint release between Cantaloupe Music and innova Recordings.

Loretta Thomas' Moving Visions will join forces with the Ensemble 212 Chamber Orchestra, Yoon Jae Lee, conductor, for Everyman's Reroof, a concert rich in live music and dances by Thomas and Catherine Gallant, as well as historical dances by Isadora Duncan, all accompanied live by the Chamber Orchestra playing Vivaldi, Stephen Barber, Schubert, and more. The trumpeter and composer Samantha Boshnack isn't a geologist by trade, but she certainly thinks a lot about earthquakes and volcanoes. Over the past 15 years, while living in her adopted hometown of Seattle, Boshnack has hiked the environs of Washington's Mount Rainier and Mount St. Helens with a kind of unnerved fascination. During her travels in places like Mexico and Indonesia, she's made a point to visit the storied volcanic sites. Throughout her journeys, a couple of questions have persisted: What causes these astounding landscapes and events, and how are they all connected? And how can these vistas be so unspeakably beautiful yet also harbor such a profound potential for catastrophe?

HBO has confirmed that the exclusive special 2019 ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONY will debut SATURDAY, APRIL 27 at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT). This year's inductees include The Cure, Def Leppard, Janet Jackson, Stevie Nicks, Radiohead, Roxy Music and The Zombies. 

Rochester's Screen Plays continues what it does best with their current production of You Can't Take it With You: present Hollywood's most iconic stories in the small, intimate setting of the Multi-Use Community Cultural Center (referred to by most as 'The MuCCC'). This play, based on the Academy Award-winning 1938 romantic comedy starring Jean Arthur and Frank Capra, tells the story of what happens when two families-one prim and snobbish, the other wonderfully eccentric- collide.
