Sao Paulo's artistic scene gets a new stage this week. Unimed Theater comes with the promise of becoming a space of excellence for culture in the city. Located in one of the most central points of Sao Paulo, on the corner of Rua Augusta and Alameda Santos, just one block from Paulista Avenue, the architectural project bears the signature of architect Isay Weinfeld. Producers Monique Gardenberg and Jeffrey Neale are responsible for curating the show, which opens August 22 with David Bowie's Lazarus, directed by Felipe Hirsch.

Salamander has released their debut album, 1993, originally recorded in 1993, through Bodan Kuma Records. Unmastered, lo-fi versions of songs from the album have been shared for years, so the band felt it was the right time to shine up these classic gems and release them commercially for the first time.
