Tennessee Rep Announces Schedule for Ingram New Works Festival

Tennessee Repertory Theatre has announced its schedule for the Martha R. Ingram New Works Festival. The festival will be held May 8 - 18 and will feature staged readings of new plays from four regional playwrights as well as nationally-renowned playwright Theresa Rebeck. Rebeck is this year's recipient of the Ingram New Works Fellowship.

The 2013-2014 Season for Classic Theatre of San Antonio brings with it exciting shows and the need for a new home. Over the last four years, The Classic Theatre has been housed in the Blue Star Arts Complex with JumpStart Performance Company. This partnership provided a space for two theatre companies and a permanent home for professional artists. JumpStart Performance Company's lease with Blue Star Arts Complex, however, will not be renewed. So, after four years in the Sterling Houston Theatre of the Blue Star Arts Complex, The Classic Theatre is looking for a new home.

MCC THEATER (Robert LuPone, Bernard Telsey, William Cantler, Artistic Directors; Blake West, Executive Director) today announced the first two productions of its 2013-14 Main Stage Season: the Broadway premiere of The Snow Geese by MCC alum Sharr White, which is a co-production with Manhattan Theatre Club (MTC); and the New York premiere of John Pollono's Small Engine Repair, which had previously been scheduled for the MCC 2012-13 Season. An announcement regarding the remaining productions of the MCC Theater 2013-14 Main Stage Season is forthcoming.

Growing Up Laughing author, actress and activist MARLO THOMAS and George Street Playhouse Artistic Director DAVID SAINT invite patrons to a special event - 'Laughing with Marlo' -- tonight, April 6 at 5:30. Tickets to the event are priced at $100 and $60; $60 buys admission to the event; a limited number of $100 VIP tickets include premium seating in the theatre and an exclusive, private reception with Ms. Thomas following the event.
