The new song, produced by Sean “YoungPow” Diedrick and executive produced by Rod Walkey, was the first written and recorded for the upcoming Dukes Of Roots project. It was later revisited by LionChld to include the Brazilian reggae roots band and Latin GRAMMY nominated, Natiruts.

Violinist MARISSA LICATA and her new band The Ragtag Collection will debut at The Cutting Room on Monday, August 1 at 7:00 PM. The Ragtag Collection features Bob Lanzetti (Snarky Puppy) on guitar, Dan Oestreicher (Trombone Shorty) on saxophone, Will Slater (Terri Lyne Carrington) on bass, and Joey Peebles (Trombone Shorty) on drums.

The album was curated by Adria Petty, daughter of Tom Petty, and brought both Everly families together for the first time in nearly 20 years to pioneer the Everly Brothers legacy. She worked alongside Phil Everly’s widow Patti, son Jason Everly—who provided insight into each song in the album’s liner notes and Don himself prior to his passing.
