The Fisher Center at Bard celebrates the holidays with two seasonal classics given fresh interpretations by world-renowned artists with deep connections to the college.

SITI Company’s Board of Directors announced that longtime Executive Director, Michelle Preston, will be stepping down at the end of October after 10 years of leadership. Preston began her tenure at SITI as the Deputy Director in 2012 and was named SITI’s Executive Director in 2014 following the departure of Megan Wanlass.

The award-winning SITI Company, a leading New York-based theater ensemble celebrated locally and internationally, concludes its Finale 30th Anniversary Season with the Radio Play tour, a series of three theatrical works inspired by the groundbreaking radio shows Orson Welles created with the Mercury Theatre in the late 1930s.

American Repertory Theater at Harvard University announced that 1,500 tickets priced at $5 and 1,000 free tickets for public high school students will be available across the upcoming 29 performances of Twilight: Los Angeles, 1992.

The award-winning SITI Company has announced additional details for its Finale 30th Anniversary Season. At the conclusion of the finale season in December 2022, SITI Company will cease to operate in its current iteration as a touring, teaching, performing ensemble with an administrative staff and a studio.

Nominations for the 37th Annual Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway were announced today by theatre veterans Lilli Cooper and Lea DeLaria, stars of Broadway’s POTUS. With COVID safety in mind, rather than having one host and multiple presenters, this year the Awards will be handed out by a few Host/Presenter pairs on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at NYU Skirball beginning at 7:00pm EST. The Lucille Lortel Awards are produced by the Off-Broadway League and Lucille Lortel Theatre, with additional support provided by TDF.

Due to a positive COVID-19 test result in the company and out of an abundance of caution, tonight’s performance of Coal Country at the Cherry Lane Theatre has been cancelled. Performances are expected to resume tomorrow, Saturday, March 26, at the matinee.
