Pop TV today announced 'Visit Schitt's Creek' - an immersive pop-up that will put fans directly into their favorite scenes in SCHITT'S CREEK, including Cafe Tropical, the Rosebud Motel, Rose Apothecary and more, bringing the beloved town to life. The free-but-limited-ticket experience will take place in Los Angeles and New York this holiday season. The pop-up will invite fans into the Emmy(R)-nominated show's world with not just recreations of its most iconic sets, but also interactive photo experiences, takeaways, access to limited merchandise and more. Pop TV today announced that its critically acclaimed original hit comedy series SCHITT'S CREEK returns with 14 new episodes for its sixth and final season on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020 at 9:00 PM, ET/PT, airing on the same day and time across the United States and Canada.

CW Seed, The CW's free, ad-supported digital network, has acquired off-season streaming rights to Pop TV's Primetime Emmy Award nominated comedy series SCHITT'S CREEK. The announcement was made today by Rick Haskins, Executive Vice President, The CW, at The Television Critics Association's Summer Press Tour at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, CA.

Schitt's Creek: Up Close & Personal is coming to Temple Hoyne Buell Theatre at The Denver Performing Arts Complex on Friday, October 18th at 7:00pm and 9:30pm. In a historic morning for Pop TV, the network's acclaimed comedy series  SCHITT'S CREEK received four nominations for the 71st Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for Eugene Levy, Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for Catherine O'Hara, and Outstanding Contemporary Costumes. The nominations mark the first in the history of Pop TV which is now fully owned by CBS Corporation.

Last time we had the opportunity to talk to Katie LaMark she was on tour with the 20th Anniversary production of Rent, which at the time was heading to Music City for a stand at Tennessee Performing Arts Center. The time was October, 2016, and we were immediately taken by her easy manner, her obvious charm and her appreciation for where she found herself in her career. Now she's back on-tour, playing the role of Sherrie in the 10th anniversary national tour of Rock of Ages, heading back to Nashville this weekend for a three-performance run at TPAC this Friday and Saturday, April 12 and 13. And we're happy to report, she's just as great an interview as ever!

A spotlight was shone on the country's best in film and television this evening, as 2019 Canadian Screen Week concluded its festivities with the biggest night of celebration at the Canadian Screen Awards: Broadcast Gala. The awards show was broadcast live from Toronto's Sony Centre for the Performing Arts on CBC and the free CBC Gem streaming service.

On last night episode's of Schitt's Creek, BroadwayWorld got a shout out from Moira Rose (Catherine O'Hara!) In the episode, Moira is co-directing a community theatre production of Cabaret, and tells her husband Johnny (Eugene Levy) she may have to take out an ad on BroadwayWorld.com. Pop Launches Pop Now App, Giving Fans On-Demand Access to Its Premium Content and Entertainment Programming

Comedy Central has secured the exclusive linear television rights to all current seasons of the Netflix original series BoJack Horseman, making the #1 brand in comedy the only place to watch the hit animated series on linear TV. Season One of The Tornante Company-produced series will make its linear television premiere on Comedy Central this fall immediately following the Season 22 debut of South Park. Select episodes will be available to stream on cc.com and the CC App. The deal was negotiated by Lionsgate-owned distributor Debmar-Mercury and Viacom Program Acquisitions Group.

Pop, the CBS/Lionsgate joint venture television network, continues to ramp up its original programming fare this upfront season, unveiling more premium scripted entertainment and a diverse slate of projects in development with the industry's top creative talent.
