Stage West has announced that, due to very high ticket demand, it will add 4 more performances to the hit POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive, by Selina Fillinger. 

Stage West will present the regional premiere of POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive, a very adult rollercoaster of a farce, which begins a 3-week run on Thursday, March 7. 

Nancy and Bill…50 years together and counting. Only problem?  Nancy wants out!  Stage West presents the regional premiere of the funny, surprising, and sometimes painfully honest Tony-nominee Grand Horizons, by Bess Wohl, which begins a 5-week run on Thursday, August 31. 

Sam and Leo, Leo and Sam – roomies and besties since college. Nothing can tear them apart—or can it?  Stage West presents the regional premiere of the buddy comedy I Wanna f**king Tear You Apart, by Morgan Gould, which begins a 4-week run on Thursday, June 15. 

Stage West has announced the Rob Bosquez Opportunity Scholarship, a new initiative aimed at providing talented young people ages 13-18 with the chance to attend the theatre's annual Summer Conservatory program free of charge.

Stage West will present George Brant’s hilarious Into the Breeches!, which begins a 4-week regional premiere run on Thursday, June 9.

How do you keep yourself from turning into the very thing you fear?  Stage West Executive Producer Dana Schultes, starring in her first ever one-woman show, tackles this question in Martín Zimmerman’s engrossing On the Exhale.

This Veterans' Day, Stage West, along with the Atlantic Council, will present an abbreviated reading of the Pulitzer-nominated play War Words by Michelle Kholos Brooks, as part of a nationwide event which celebrates, honors, and recognizes the men and women of our military.

Stage West has announced pieces which will make up the 12th annual Festival of the Kid performances, which will take place virtually again this year. 

Stage West is pleased to announce that it will be presenting October Playlets, three short plays written specifically to be live-streamed, from October 8-18.

While Stage West had previously announced hopes of presenting Into the Breeches! this September at Fort Worth's Trinity Park Pavilion, the group has now accepted that that dream will not become a reality. The show has officially been postponed, until at least the summer of 2021.

On January 20, 2020 Stage West Board of Directors signed a contract with BASECOM Inc. Construction, a 25 year old minority owned business located in Fort Worth's Near Southside, who will act as the general contractor for the upcoming renovations at Stage West. Phase One of the renovations is scheduled to begin on March 2, pending permits, and will include, primarily for the 823 W Vickery space:

Can you assume these days that what you see in the media is factually correct?  Is accuracy all that important in an opinion piece? Those questions are central to the timely and very funny The Lifespan of a Fact, by Jeremy Kareken & David Murrell and Gordon Farrell, which begins a 5-week regional premiere run at Stage West on Thursday, November 7.

Stage West has announced the installation of a new Assisted Listening Device system made possible by a generous gift from Annie and John Mason. The system will include 16 receivers and headphones, and additionally, a handful of T-Coil neckloops, available for those whose hearing aids are set up to receive the transmission. Both things will be available for Stage West's Main Stage, starting with the first preview of Lungs by Duncan Macmillan on July 25. Following the upcoming renovations to Stage West's second space, the Studio, the system will be available in that venue as well.

Stage West is pleased to announce the 10th annual Festival of the Kid performances, Monday through Wednesday May 6-May 8 in the Studio at Stage West.  This unique festival was originally conceived by Rob Bosquez, Jr. and Dana Schultes in 2009, and its first performance was presented in December of that year.  Their idea was simple: produce plays written by kids and use their peers as the performers.  Since that time, the Neighborhood Play Contest has drawn hundreds of entries, and has expanded to three days, with two performances each night.

Ten volunteers chart the course of the Colorado River in Jaclyn Backhaus' off-the-wall comedy, Men On Boats. With a one-armed captain and a loyal crew, follow the true(ish) story of the 1869 Grand Canyon expedition. This widely acclaimed and hysterical new play closes Circle's 37th season with a splash! Will they survive the wild rapids to change the course of history?
