Stage West to Begin Phase One of Renovations

On January 20, 2020 Stage West Board of Directors signed a contract with BASECOM Inc. Construction, a 25 year old minority owned business located in Fort Worth's Near Southside, who will act as the general contractor for the upcoming renovations at Stage West. Phase One of the renovations is scheduled to begin on March 2, pending permits, and will include, primarily for the 823 W Vickery space:

Stage West Announces New Assisted Listening Device

Stage West has announced the installation of a new Assisted Listening Device system made possible by a generous gift from Annie and John Mason. The system will include 16 receivers and headphones, and additionally, a handful of T-Coil neckloops, available for those whose hearing aids are set up to receive the transmission. Both things will be available for Stage West's Main Stage, starting with the first preview of Lungs by Duncan Macmillan on July 25. Following the upcoming renovations to Stage West's second space, the Studio, the system will be available in that venue as well.

10th Annual FESTIVAL OF THE KID Announced At Stage West

Stage West is pleased to announce the 10th annual Festival of the Kid performances, Monday through Wednesday May 6-May 8 in the Studio at Stage West.  This unique festival was originally conceived by Rob Bosquez, Jr. and Dana Schultes in 2009, and its first performance was presented in December of that year.  Their idea was simple: produce plays written by kids and use their peers as the performers.  Since that time, the Neighborhood Play Contest has drawn hundreds of entries, and has expanded to three days, with two performances each night.
