Roy Firestone Brings His ONE MAN SHOW To Jewish Family Services Of The Desert For One Very Special Performance, Sunday, November 17 at 3:00 pm at the UC Riverside Palm Desert Campus. Critically acclaimed as a performer, monologist, humorist, musician and impressionist, Roy Firestone, the seven-time Emmy® Award and seven-time Cable ACE Award winner, has performed in more than 2,000 venues spanning over two decades. He has shared the stage with performers  Josh Groban, Reba McEntire, David Foster, Forest Whitaker, and Bon Jovi. As an actor, Firestone was featured in the Academy Award-winning film Jerry Maguire, where he played himself in an unforgettable and often repeated scene with Academy Award winner Cuba Gooding Jr. I had the opportunity to catch up with Mr. Firestone as he was preparing for his desert performance. Here are a few excerpts from that conversation:

The Tony Award-winning, record-breaking hit musical Chicago celebrates its 23rd Broadway anniversary tomorrow, Thursday, November 14th. The production is now playing at Broadway's Ambassador Theatre (219 W. 49th St.).

Over the last decade, Ryan Murphy has become one of the most influential creators in entertainment. The screenwriter, director and producer has won six Emmy Awards out of 28 nominations and a Tony Award in 2019 for Best Revival of a Play, as a producer. He has also earned three Grammy Award nominations, as a producer.

Netflix has entered into a multi-year first look deal with director, producer, and award winning actress, Regina King.  King's production company Royal Ties is entering into the first-look deal to produce films and series for Netflix.  Her sister, Reina King, will serve as head of production of the shingle.

Casamigos Tequila and Mezcal were flowing at the TAO x Revolve Desert Nights party. This coveted pop up was once again the party not to miss heading into the first week of Coachella.

Chicago announced today that actress Veronica Dunne will return to the Broadway production in the role of "Roxie Hart" beginning Tuesday, February 12. She will play a 6-week limited engagement at the Ambassador Theatre (219 W. 49th St.) through Sunday, March 24, 2019.

Once again, the Broadway company of Chicago has created an original holiday song for Broadway Cares' annual Carols For a Cure album.

The Tony Award-winning, record-breaking hit musical Chicago has announced that Academy Award winner and Emmy nominee Cuba Gooding Jr. will return to Broadway as the smooth-talking lawyer "Billy Flynn," beginning Monday, January 7, 2019 through Sunday, February 10, 2019 (five weeks only) at Broadway's Ambassador Theatre (219 W. 49th Street).

The Tony Award-winning, record-breaking hit musical Chicago celebrates its 22nd Broadway anniversary tomorrow, Wednesday, November 14th. Celebrate 22 years of razzle dazzle with these fun Chicago facts!
