Last weekend, New Jersey's acclaimed Kick Performing Arts Studio hit Redbank's historic Count Basie Stage to showcase their incredible young dancers. Performing various routines, Kick's students showed their excellence in tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, musical theatre and more! Featuring dancers from age 2 and up, the afternoon was a special chance for every student to shine. 

Following a year of negotiation and fundraising, the Cultural Space Agency and Rainier Avenue Radio are proud to announce their partnership, and their purchase of the historic Columbia City Theater.

12th of June, the new album from four-time Grammy-winning singer, composer and actor Lyle Lovett is out today via Verve Records. Produced by Chuck Ainlay and Lovett, 12th of June features a mix of new originals, including previously released singles “12th of June” and “Pants Is Overrated,” standards by Nat King Cole and Dave Frishberg, and a Horace Silver instrumental, representing Lovett’s dynamic live performances with his Large Band. Coupled with his gift for storytelling, the new album continues to highlight Lovett’s ability to fuse elements of jazz, country, western swing, folk, gospel and blues in a convention-defying manner that breaks down barriers.

The Center for the Arts at George Mason University announced today its 2022/2023 season of mainstage performances, featuring a diverse lineup of artists and ensembles across many genres, as part of Great Performances at Mason and the Family Series.

Opera Columbus will present a reimagined production of Leslie Savoy Burrs and John A. Williams’ Vanqui as part of its 40 Days of Opera festival. Helmed by Crane Directing Fellow Luther Lewis III, the opera is part of a partnership with The Ohio State University’s Journeys to Equity program.

Concerto di Primavera features Italian-American music with Ervin Dede, violin soloist, Soprano Holly Flack, and Tenor Arthur Lai and guest performers Al Lambert and Tatiana Santos Mroczek accompanied by the Richmond County Orchestra's 60-piece orchestra directed by Maestro Alan Aurelia. Both Flack and Lai have performed together at Lincoln Center.

The Celebrity Series of Boston announces its 2022/23 season today, marking 84 years of bringing touring and local performing artists to Boston.

The American Symphony Orchestra (ASO) continues its 60th anniversary season on Sunday, June 5 with American Masters, a free symphonic concert at Jazz at Lincoln Center featuring the world premiere of Roberto Sierra’s newly commissioned Concerto for Electric Violin performed by acclaimed electric violinist Tracy Silverman. The program will also offer works by three Pulitzer Prize-winning composers: Melinda Wagner, Richard Wernick, and Shulamit Ran.
