Happy Holidays from Broadway Sessions! Our Annual All-Star Holiday Show this past Thursday the 19th was such a joyous occasion. Belting, tapping, singalongs and laughing- oh my! Our All-Star lineup included Paige Davis (Chicago, Trading Spaces), Patrick Page (Hadestown) Jewelle Blackman (Hadestown), Max Chernin (Sunday in The Park), Rhaamell Burke-Missouri (King Kong), Hernando Umana (School of Rock), Nicole Vanessa Ortiz (Smokey Joe's Cafe), Riza Takahashi (Mean Girls), Gianna Yanelli (Mean Girls), Jessica Juanich (Bat Out Of Hell), Imari Hardon (Avenue Q), Robert Mantano (Radio City Christmas Spectacular), Eric Sebek (Radio City Christmas Spectacular), The Honey Taps, Colleen Harris, Michael Kirk Lane, Katryna Marttala, and Anthony Fett.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway cast twice monthly. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida, Footloose, Dance Captain Dance Attack web series) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. This Thursday night, June 27th Broadway Sessions will celebrate it's 11th anniversary with an all star concert event.

We wrangled up Matilda's Talia Ryder, South Pacific vet Lala as well as 3 talented gents who currently star in the great big show at the great big hall over on 6th avenue- Robert Montano, Hunter Kovacs and Will Ehren. This past Thursday Broadway Sessions celebrated the 5th birthday of our beloved and uber-talented musical director, Joshua Stephen Kartes. Joshua had but one birthday wish- he wanted to blow out his candles like 'Bobby' in Sondheim's masterpiece, Company. So that's exactly what we gave him!

Critically acclaimed cabarettist and theater performer Molly Pope will return to Mostly Sondheim as co-host for the month of November. Pope, whose cabaret An Audience with Molly Pope will be recorded live at Joe's Pub this January, joins resident host Colleen Harris and musical director Brian Nash.
