Nominees in all categories excluding Special Event - Solo and Special Event - Multiple needed to have performed all or the majority of their shows (at least two of three shows) during this eligibility period.

SF Sketchfest announced a new series of Live from the Archive videos that will be released each Tuesday beginning on May 5, 2020. And I have a feeling, every night since, until it closed it's two-week run, due mostly to cast members' former commitments, it felt much the same. The audience was treated to an embellished redux of the 1975 cult smash hit of the same name.

In this episode, Ben and Daniel talk to actor, singer, and drag legend Jeffery Roberson (aka Varla Jean Merman) about the 1966 cast recording of 'The Mad Show.' They also discuss Coco Peru, Frank DeCaro, Heklina, Joanne Worley, Linda Lavin, 'The First Wives Club,' Carol Burnett, Sandy Duncan, Barbra Streisand, Ann Reinking, Leslie Jordan, Marisol Montalvo, and Charles Busch. Varla talks about performing the role of Mary Sunshine in 'Chicago' on Broadway, and shares stories about working in Provincetown with queens such as Jinkx Monsoon, Peaches Christ, Liza Lott, and BenDeLaCreme. In addition to her hilarious onstage performances, Varla is also known for her work in Richard Day's beloved 2003 comedy film 'Girls Will Be Girls.'

The Boulet Brothers, whose a?oeDragulaa?? TV series is now in its third season on Netflix and OUTtv.ca, will be special guest hosts at the Saturday, Feb. 1, 10 PM performance of Tom Eyen's a?oeWomen Behind Barsa?? at the Montalban Theatre in Hollywood. Known individually as Dracmorda and Swanthula Boulet, they are internationally-known nightlife producers and hosts who developed the a?oeDragulaa?? TV series based loosely on their long-running club event of the same name, which ran monthly in Los Angeles and San Francisco, with special events in New York and Austin, Texas.

a?oeWomen Behind Bars,a?? the classic Tom Eyen comedy hit, will feature a live special introduction by Kathy Griffin at the Jan. 26 Sunday matinee performance, 3 PM at the Montalban Theatre in Hollywood.   

a?oeWomen Behind Bars,a?? the classic prison comedy by a?oeDreamgirlsa?? writer Tom Eyen, will have its first new Equity revival Jan. 24-Feb. 2, at the 900-seat Montalban Theatre in Hollywood (formerly the Doolittle).   It is being directed and co-produced by award-winning director-choreographer Scott Thompson.

Ginger Minj, a fan-favorite on a?oeRuPaul's Drag Racea?? and a?oeRuPaul's Drag Race All-Stars,a?? has joined the cast of the Los Angeles revival of Tom Eyen's cult prison comedy a?oeWomen Behind Bars,a?? playing the role of Ada.  The Equity production will run for eight performances only for two consecutive weekends, Jan. 24-Feb. 2, at the 900-seat Montalban Theatre in Hollywood (formerly the Doolittle), directed by Scott Thompson.  Minj replaces the previously-announced Thorgy Thor, who has withdrawn due to a conflict.

The Los Angeles LGBT Center's Lily Tomlin/Jane Wagner Cultural Arts Center has announced the return of the legendary Miss Coco Peru in her latest solo show, Have You Heard? The Will & Grace star will play three performances only at the Renberg Theatre on Friday and Saturday, April 26 & 27, at 8pm and Sunday, April 28, at 7pm.

Ben Rimalower will return to Los Angeles with his acclaimed long-running solo plays, PATTI ISSUES (about his obsession with Broadway diva Patti LuPone and his relationship with his troubled gay father) and BAD WITH MONEY (about how an addiction to spending beyond his means has driven him to extreme lengths all his life). Los Angeles performances will be Casita Del Campo's Cavern Club Celebrity Theater (1920 Hyperion Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90027) on Tuesday, March 26. Tickets are available separately and for the combined evening of both shows.
