Rise and shine, BroadwayWorld! It is May 11, 2026 and it's time to catch up on all of the theatrical happenings you may have missed over the weekend.

The National Tour of Wicked will welcome new principal cast members next month, including Aline Mayagoitia as Elphaba, Claudia Bennett as Glinda, Susan Cella as Madame Morrible and more.

The cast of THE BIG ONE-OH! includes two-time Tony Award winner Christian Borle, along with Derek Klena, Patti Murin, Brittney Mack, Michael James Scott, and introduces Jaxon Daniel (as Charlie) and Emmy Woodard. Rounding out the cast are Claudia Bennett, Hatty King, Scott Nelson, Mason Risser, Amber Trottman, Elle Wesley, Riley West, and Emma Rose Williamson

Annie, the irrepressible orphan of newspaper comics-fame who has been delighting audiences onstage since the 1970s, makes her return to Nashville's Chaffin's Barn Dinner Theatre this summer, running July 28-September 3, in a new production of Annie directed by Martha Wilkinson, with music direction by Jaclyn Brown and choreography by Bakari King.
