Second Stage Theatre's current season will continue with a new production of Paula Vogel's Pulitzer Prize-winning play, How I Learned To Drive, directed by Kate Whoriskey and starring Norbert Leo Butz and Elizabeth Reaser. Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director) will conclude its 33rd season with the World Premiere of the new musical, DOGFIGHT, featuring music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, a book by Peter Duchan and directed by two-time Tony Award winner Joe Mantello. Winner of the prestigious 2011 Richards Rodgers Award for Musical Theatre, DOGFIGHT will be performed at Second Stage's Tony Kiser Theatre (305 West 43rd street) this summer. Casting is announced for "Morning's at Seven," a Script in Hand play reading of the Tony Award-winning comedy by Paul Osborn, at Westport Country Playhouse, on Monday, February 13, 7 p.m. Tickets to the one-night-only event are $15.

Producers Jeffrey Richards, Jerry Frankel and INFINITY Stages announced today that Tony Award nominee KERRY BUTLER (Xanadu) has joined the cast of the 2012 Broadway revival of Gore Vidal's THE BEST MAN in the role of Mabel Cantwell, a role that Edie Adams played in the film adaptation and later by Christine Ebersole in the 2000 Broadway revival. The addition of Butler marks the completion of principal casting for this star-studded theatrical event.

Following sold out runs on Broadway at Manhattan Theatre Club and Off-Broadway at Classic Stage Company, VENUS IN FUR, the acclaimed new play by David Ives, directed by Tony Award winner Walter Bobbie, will transfer to Broadway's Lyceum Theatre starring Tony Award nominee Nina Arianda and Emmy Award nominee Hugh Dancy.

According to published reports, Broadway veteran Phyllis Love passed away October 30 in Los Angeles of complications from Alzheimer's disease.
