Theatre Vertigo Presents COMPLEX

Receiving its world premiere at Theatre Vertigo, this script was workshopped and performed locally at the 2013 JAW: A Playwright's Festival at Portland Center Stage. DIAL M FOR MURDER Opens At Lakewood Theatre Company

Lakewood Theatre Company continues its 66th season of live theatre with Dial M for Murder, a bone-chilling thriller by Frederick Knott about a marriage gone wrong. When tennis player Tony Wendice discovers his rich wife's affair, he decides to have her taken out - for good. Made famous by Alfred Hitchcock's classic film adaptation, this psychological thriller will leave you on the edge of your seat.

This July, Portland Center Stage at The Armory celebrates the 20th Anniversary of JAW: A Playwrights Festival. The two week festival - during which artists from across the country collaborate to workshop and develop exciting new scripts - culminates in the Big Weekend of free staged readings, along with community classes, dance, music, and other events at The Armory.

Playwrights Selected For The 20th Anniversary Of JAW!

This summer, JAW: A Playwrights Festival celebrates its 20th anniversary by doing what it does best: selecting some of the most exciting new plays of our time and providing complete support to the playwrights to develop those scripts in whatever area is most beneficial to them. Two weeks of script workshopping will culminate in the JAW Big Weekend, July 27-29, where public staged readings of the scripts will be presented along with performances from local artists and classes. Plenty of champagne and birthday cake will also be enjoyed, to celebrate all that JAW has accomplished since its brave and ambitious beginnings in 1999.

JAW: A Playwrights Festival Full Schedule Announced

The 19th annual JAW: A Playwrights Festival is Portland's chance to preview spanking new scripts while they're still in development, enjoy a host of Press Play performances and dig deeper with Community Artist Labs presented by JAW featured artists. The JAW Big Weekend is July 28-30 in various locations at The Armory. JAW is always FREE and open to the public. More information about JAW is available at www.pcs.org/jaw.

JAW: A Playwrights Festival Lineup Announced

Portland Center Stage at The Armory has selected the four playwrights who develop new plays in Portland during the 19th annual JAW: A Playwrights Festival.

Lakewood Theatre Company will open on Friday April 28, 2017 with the landmark musical, Godspell with music and lyrics by Steve Schwartz and book by John-Michael Tebelak. The production sponsor for Godspell is Nicoletta's Table & Marketplace.
