The 2019 Broadway At Music Circus season continues with a brand new production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's first collaboration, the groundbreaking masterpiece Oklahoma! The Pulitzer Prize winning musical, which The New York Times said "changed the course of the Broadway musical," runs Tuesday, June 25 through Sunday, June 30 at the Wells Fargo Pavilion.

10 Hairy Legs, the male repertory dance company, holds its 7th consecutive New York Season with a return to New York Live Arts June 27-29. Presented are World Premieres by Larry Keigwin entitled Cruise Control and Adam Barruch. Barruch's work, entitled Heist will have a newly composed score by Roarke Menzies.

Netflix has acquired worldwide rights to Imagine Entertainment's film adaptation of Tick, Tick...Boom! 

Encores! Off-Center will present Nina Faso and Stephen Schwartz's Working: A Musical, June 26-29. The production stars Andrea Burns, Mateo Ferro, David Garrison, Helen Hunt, Christopher Jackson, Javier Muñoz, and Tracie Thoms.

Toronto's premier international dance festival Fall for Dance North (FFDN) is announcing the momentous fifth anniversary edition, October 2-6, 2019, at co- presenter TO Live's MERIDIAN HALL (formerly the Sony Centre), Ryerson Theatre in partnership with the Ryerson School of Performance, and Union Station.

CBS announced today the 16 all-new Houseguests who will embark on the 21st season of BIG BROTHER. This season's cast includes Broadway performer Tommy Bracco, a wine safari guide, a preschool aide, a petroleum engineer and a therapist, among others. CBS' summer reality hit will again have three weekly episodes, starting with a two-night premiere Tuesday, June 25 and Wednesday, June 26 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT). The series is hosted by Julie Chen Moonves.

On Sunday, BWW has learned that star of stage and screen Jake Gyllenhaal and Tony winner Annaleigh Ashford will reunite to lead a West End production of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's beloved musical SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE beginning in June 11, 2020.

Led by Artistic Director Robert Battle, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater's 2019 Lincoln Center engagement continued last night with the star-studded Ailey Spirit Gala. The centerpiece of Ailey's engagement celebrated the 50th Anniversary of The Ailey School, the official school of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and a springboard for many notable artists - including more than 70% of the Company's dancers.

Encores! Off-Center Artistic Director Anne Kauffman today announced casting for the production of Promenade (July 10 & 11) as part of New York City Center's 75th Anniversary Season.

For the last five years, the New Amsterdam Theatre has been all about magic lamps, carpet rides, princes, thieves and genies! That's because Disney's Aladdin, which opened in 2014, has played well over 2000 performances there.

Four straight days of sold-out shows and capacity crowds, as well as surprise performances and collaborations, made the 48th annual CMA Fest one for the record books. At Nissan Stadium, Lil Nas X created one of the festival's most talked-about moments Saturday night, joined by Billy Ray Cyrus and reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year Keith Urban for an epic surprise performance of “Old Town Road,” the No. 1 song in the country for 10 weeks and running. 

Stephanie J. Block has won the 2019 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical for The Cher Show.

Santino Fontana has won the 2019 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical for Tootsie.

Following three sold-out New York engagements, the Vakhtangov State Academic Theatre of Russia returns with a new verse drama Masquerade, directed by Rimas Tuminas (Eugene Onegin). Bay Street Theater is pleased to announce THE PROMPTER, the first production of the 2019 Mainstage Season, had a successful opening night on June 1. The show runs through June 16. This World Premiere stars Tovah Feldshuh (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, The Walking Dead, Golda's Balcony) and Wade Dooley (Jersey Boys), who is also the playwright.
