Bravo! Vail Announces 2021 Season

The Festival will welcome back 4 world-class orchestras - the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, Dallas Symphony Orchestra, The Philadelphia Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic & seven leading conductors, including Jaap van Zweden, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, and Fabio Luisi, to perform live concerts held safely outdoors for in-person audiences.

New York Philharmonic Adds Newly Recorded Concert to NYPhil+

The concert is conducted by Tito Muñoz in his Philharmonic debut, and features pianist Aaron Diehl as soloist in selections from Mary Lou Williams’s Zodiac Suite (in which he is joined by bassist Paul Sikivie and drummer Aaron Kimmel) and William Grant Still’s Out of the Silence, from Seven Traceries.

New York Philharmonic Ensembles Series Continues with Three Concerts

The 36th season of the New York Philharmonic Ensembles series - chamber concerts showcasing Musicians from the New York Philharmonic performing classical and modern works they have chosen on select Sunday afternoons at Merkin Hall - will continue this spring with three concerts. Philharmonic musicians will perform works by Mendelssohn and Schubert on March 15, 2020; Vanhal, Mendelssohn, Roussel, and Mozart on April 19, 2020; and Eric Ewazen, Stravinsky, and Dvořák on May 24, 2020.

Classic Stage Company today announces the casts and designers for the thrilling repertory cycle of adaptations of two legendary Gothic nightmares-Kate Hamill's reimagining of Dracula, directed by Sarna Lapine (January 15-March 15, 2020) and Tristan Bernays' adaptation of Frankenstein, directed by Timothy Douglas (January 30-March 15, 2020).

This Monday, April 29, 2019 is the annual benefit for The Center for Arts Education 'CAE CELEBRATION 2019' at The Yale Club of New York City (50 Vanderbilt Ave.) This gala evening is a benefit in support of arts education for all NYC public school students. Yuja Wang To Replace Maurizio Pollini in One-Night-Only Performance of Schumann's Piano Concerto

Yuja Wang will replace Maurizio Pollini, who has cancelled in order to fully recover from a brief illness, in the one-night-only performance of Schumann's Piano Concerto with the New York Philharmonic led by Music Director Jaap van Zweden, Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at 7:30 p.m. The program will also include Johan Wagenaar's Cyrano de Bergerac Overture and Beethoven's Symphony No. 7.

CSC And John Turturro Unveil David Rockwell Installation At Newly Named Lynn F. Angelson Theater

Classic Stage Company Theater, named for its most devoted supporter and long-standing board chair, and the John Doyle Artistic Director's Circle donor doors, on Wednesday, January 23 at 5:30pm. The installation was designed by Tony Award winner David Rockwell and the ceremony will take place prior to the evening's performance of Conor McPherson's new version of August Strindberg's The Dance of Death, helmed by Tony Award winner Victoria Clark (part of CSC's Strindberg repertory engagement with director Shariffa Ali's production of Yael Farber's Mies Julie, running through March 10 at 136 East 13th Street). Lynn F. Angelson, John Doyle, and special guest John Turturro (The Cherry Orchard, CSC 2011) will be on hand for the celebration.
