According to Deadline, Katrina Lenk (The Band's Visit) has booked a recurring role on the second season of CBS ALL ACCESS drama series The Good Fight, from THE GOOD WIFE creators Robert and Michelle King. In Season 2, the Chicago murder rate is on the rise, and Diane (Christine Baranski), Lucca (Cush Jumbo), Maia (Rose Leslie) and the rest of the law firm find themselves under psychological assault when a client at another firm kills his lawyer for overcharging. Lenk will play Nafatali Amado, the fiancée of Colin Sweeney (Dylan Baker). Lenk currently stars on Broadway in The Band's Visit. She's repped by Brady, Brannon and Rich Talent and Soffer/Namoff Entertainment.

Following the announcement of kicking off Opening Night with the world premiere of Steven Tyler's documentary OUT ON A LIMB, the Nashville Film Festival continues its lineup for the ten-day festival (May 10-19, 2018) with the announcement of 48 additional feature films in Narrative, Documentary, New Directors and Graveyard Shift competitions. Capturing the essence of today's most relevant social issues, historical stories and more, these 48 films hail from China, South Africa, Netherlands, Denmark, India, France and more, as well as 31 from the U.S. A jury of industry professionals will select the winning films that will take home up to $20,000 in cash and prizes.

Director and playwright Stan Zimmerman has found his quartet of actors for his new comedy Knife to the Heart, co-written with Christian McLaughlin. The show will play a limited run of 3 WEEKS ONLY for 9 performances (May 4-20) at the Dorie Theatre, part of The Complex on LA's famed Theatre Row (6476 Santa Monica Blvd, LA CA 90038). Show times are Friday and Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 3pm. The cast includes Chelsea Kane ('Baby Daddy'), Todd Sherry ('Parks & Recreation'), Josh Zuckerman (A Delicate Ship) and four-time Emmy-nominee Patricia Richardson ('Home Improvement'). A special preview performance is Friday May 4 with an Opening Night of Saturday May 5.

REPRISE 2.0 is now announced, presenting a season of three classic American musicals at UCLA's Freud Playhouse, by Marcia Seligson, Producing Artistic Director of the new performing arts organization.  REPRISE 2.0 is partnering with the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television's Department of Theater (UCLA TFT), chaired by Brian Kite. 

Producers Eva Price and Sucker Love Productions have announced that actor, singer and television personality FRANKIE J. GRANDE will step into the role of Blaine Tuttle in CRUEL INTENTIONS - the new musical nightlife experience based on Roger Kumble's 1999 cult-hit film, now playing at downtown hotspot (le) Poisson Rouge (158 Bleecker Street). Grande joins the cast on Sunday, March 18.

CBS All Access, CBS' digital subscription video on-demand and live streaming service, today announced season two of its first original drama series, THE GOOD FIGHT, will premiere on Sunday, March 4, 2018. New episodes of THE GOOD FIGHT's 13-episode second season will be available weekly on Sundays exclusively for CBS All Access subscribers.

Okay so maybe THE GOOD FIGHT isn't going to be doing a musical episode...yet. Colbert queried a possible GOOD FIGHT musical episode, about which Baranski was at first hesitant. But watch below as the microphone comes out and music starts flowing!

Eva Price and Sucker Love Productions have announced the third and final extension of the hit New York Premiere engagement of CRUEL INTENTIONS - the new musical nightlife experience based on Roger Kumble's 1999 cult-hit film. The musical, which began as a ten-week run starting November 17, 2017, will now play twenty-one weeks and 112 performances by its conclusion on Sunday, April 8, 2018.
